It is so bizarre seeing all the comments that "nice shoes" don't have rubber soles. I don't think I've ever seen a shoe without a rubber sole, and in California "nice shoes" means "close toed."

Apparently this is because redditors have one paid of “nice shoes” they keep in the back of their closet that they wear once every few years, and rubber soles degrade and fall apart if they’re not worn.

@JimMcMurtry01 @freedomchoser Apparently, they don't have to have any schools, grocery stores, or any public services in that high density area either. Because it's indigenous built they get to override the normal city planning rules.

I should clarify that none of my views are aimed at getting women, advancing your career, or appearing successful/ rich/ respectable. I am only interested in menswear as an aesthetic. Thus, all these outfits below look great to me. I have no opinion on the other stuff.

The thing about these old homes is that the floor plan is always genius. You may think that you can come up with a better floor plan, but even modern architects have a hard time doing it right. It’s also not intuitive why this is so nice, and many people have a hard time seeing it in their mind’s eye when looking at a print.

Retirement systems can often be remarkably generous at the low end. See here where an immigrant who worked in the US for exactly ten years will likely receive an SSI annual benefit higher than he ever earned in a year by working.

Zohran Mamdani has ended an Eric Adams policy of criminally charging people who drive mopeds on sidewalks and ride them the wrong way on one way streets.
He is doing this to protect illegal immigrants, who come to this country from places where there are no traffic laws to work illegally as food delivery workers.
These people recreate the conditions of their third-world homelands and injure or kill pedestrians. Trump should send ICE to NYC to round them up.
