For the average user, having a new Neo would be better

OK, I just realized that Best Buy sells a 14-inch m1 macbook pro for only $699, and now I am not sure if the MacBook Neo is a good deal while this one is available.

Fun fact:
The New Zealand Dollar is printed in Ottawa by the Canadian Banknote Company
Made In Canada@MadelnCanada
New Zealand: "Hey Canada, can I copy your homework." Canada: "Sure, just change it a bit so it isn't obvious."

@JadeBlairxox I'm not a sex worker, but I've been with many women, and nearly all of them climax multiple times because I hit their G-spot and uterus simultaneously.
Since when does the penis have a bone? That's a new one.

> be WinRAR creator: Eugene Roshal

> give everyone a 40-day trial
> never actually enforce the trial
> people use it for 20+ years anyway
> millions of PCs still running the “trial”
> no DRM, no lockouts
> just a small reminder popup
> accidentally give the entire planet a permanent trial
absolute legend 🐐

@thesayannayak @WinRAR_RARLAB I don’t think it was an accident tbh

@CricketSurfing @DougiETeslaBot @GrandpaKen05 Sure some people can handle it, but you have to account for the common denominator. The reality is most people are financially illiterate consumers..
English

@DougiETeslaBot @VehicleDouggie @GrandpaKen05 It is invested (which is better than something like American Social Security), but it is still controlled by the government. Much better to just transfer the title to individuals.

The only way Canada could have been energy Independent would be if Canada Nationalized its oil in the 80's. Alberta said no, we sold off our national ownership, so no refineries and cross country pipeline to the coast or east got build by private companies. Also see US gas prices

@CricketSurfing @DougiETeslaBot @GrandpaKen05 Lottery winners are twice as likely to file for bankruptcy compared to non-winners. Do you really expect the average person to manage a sudden cash windfall responsibly lol?
English

@CricketSurfing @DougiETeslaBot @GrandpaKen05 lol Norway’s sovereign wealth fund is worth over 2 trillion USD but go off
English

@DougiETeslaBot @GrandpaKen05 Norway would be a lot wealther today if it had sold off its fund decades ago

@CricketSurfing @GrandpaKen05 Congratulations, now all our oil companies are American

@0xleegenz 30 years? Have you forgotten that 60% of mortgages in America get refinanced and actually end up taking 35-40+ years to be debt free?

@queentotom @ProtonInspector It’s not how they order their drink, it’s how they use cola as a broad identifier for carbonated drinks. Soda or pop is broad, but cola is a specific style of beverage in that category. It doesn’t make sense to identify sprite under ‘cola’ because it isn’t cola lol
English

@ProtonInspector if youre ordering, specify the brand
if youre talking about the concept of soda, say coke, its basically all the same
if what youre saying only applies to coca cola, say coca cola
if youre talking about sodas but excluding coca cola, say soda
if youre talking about pepsi, die

@Swervin_King @AlpacaAurelius Yes the creatine is real but it’s not 100% creatine in the jar. The main concern is toxic contaminants / byproducts left over like heavy metals and triazines. The supplement industry is sketchy and cuts corners, remember every bit left in the mix increases their profit margin
English

@AlpacaAurelius "creatine powder isn't actually from animal products...it's synthesized in a lab from chemicals like cyanamide."
This agument invalidates everything because you self-admitted to being dumb. "Synthetic" chemicals are the EXACT same as "natural" chemicals on the molecular level.
English

i almost sold creatine, and could have made lots of $$...but I decided not to after getting the quotes:
here's what most companies aren't telling you:
1) most creatines are from sketchy overseas markets
2) most companies selling creatine are doing so because it's extremely high margin....for 300g it's likely costing the company only $3-$5 to sell to you, MAX.
3) many creatines are loaded with toxic byproducts of production
4) creatine powder isn't actually from animal products...it's synthesized in a lab from chemicals like cyanamide.
5) 15% of creatines have levels of a toxic byproduct called triazines.
sure...there are loads of great studies on creatine, but i just couldnt get behind the supplements. unlike a collagen powder and a beef liver which are actually REAL food dehydrated, creatine is not.
im really not so sure on creatine supplements. i think most of the studies are marketing is incredibly biased because of how much money is at stake...and it's one of those things id prefer to get naturally if possible.
