The rest of us who voted for the mandate can wait for the Magical Reconciliation Fairy to come with special dust from Republicans who have already signaled conditions on ICE and that their real motivation for reconciliation is another priority. Huge damage done to ICE/CBP in the immediate with this, and also in the long term now that they're on the loneliest funding island of all agencies. Not to mention those still not getting paid, the operational chaos this has already caused, and the signal it sends to a workforce already under literal attack.
