I pay 27000 for a 1 BHK flat in HSR, Bangalore. It is a semi-furnished flat with just cabinets, ceiling fans, doors, and windows. No power backup, no AC provided by the flat owner. Very frequent power cuts and water shortages. Also, flat rent has increased to 28.5K.

As Governor, I know I cannot control global energy markets, or the price of eggs, or whatever the president decides to post on social media. But there are tangible steps we are taking right now to tackle high costs where Virginians feel them most: healthcare, energy, and housing. On healthcare, I signed bipartisan bills to prevent insurance companies from overruling doctors, to invest in our health care workforce, and to stop predatory middlemen from driving up the cost of prescription drugs. On energy, I signed bipartisan bills to protect ratepayers from covering the cost of infrastructure improvements, incentivize energy independence, and help localities invest in new energy technologies. On housing, I signed bipartisan bills to let localities adopt affordable housing programs, cut red tape, and incentivize construction. These bills — like so many of the others I have signed — were passed with support from Democrats and Republicans alike. Because nobody asks for your political party affiliation when you’re filling a prescription, signing a lease, or paying a monthly utility bill.

Sundar C and PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan are contesting in the Madurai Central constituency. At the time of the 2021 election results, the people of Madurai were happy because they had elected prominent DMK leaders, who were later inducted into the Tamil Nadu Cabinet and held key portfolios. The people of Madurai had faith that these elected DMK representatives would contribute to the development of the city. However, their faith has been diluted due to the greed and selfishness of the Madurai DMK leadership. Today, this historically rich city of Madurai is listed among the dirtiest cities in India. It is also alleged that the Madurai Corporation was looted by the DMK mayor, which is one of the reasons why construction and road works were not completed with quality. In the DMK regime, PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan held the Finance Minister’s post, and he expressed his limitations in the Tamil Nadu Assembly and in the media. PTR himself has mentioned that when he was an MLA during the AIADMK regime, there were no such drainage issues in his constituency. Then why is it happening now? It is because the Madurai Corporation has become inefficient. Now, Sundar C is pointing out this apathy and the issues under MLA PTR in the Madurai Central constituency. However, he is being targeted by the DMK ecosystem on the grounds that he is not a native of Madurai. Why did the ‘son of the soil,’ PTR, fail to address these issues? Is it because of his higher education in European countries and his experience working in banks in the UK? PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan is known for his claims of transparency and a clean approach, and this ‘transparency’ is well known to the people of Tamil Nadu through his TV interviews where he openly expresses his grievances. Mr. PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan, you may please take rest, as your tenure as an MLA has not delivered much to the people of Madurai, despite your influence and powerful position in the DMK party. @arulmuru182002 Fact is simple. No of sanitation workers is very less. No modern equipment to buy. All the tax money goes to Govt employees, freebies. So they don’t want to increase sanitation workers, teachers, nurses,doctors etc etc. This is what happens in each and every state and corruption

To keep a city good, the responsibility doesn't stop with citizen or sanitazion workers. A person who know how the hierarchy works in India just pass the dysfunctional urban sanitation to local body when there is much to do by everyone!! Any election this will impact.
