#Pompey Charlton away my 1st memory of this fixture is way back in 1976, my old dad took me to the valley to watch 1-1 draw in the fa cup, I think we lost the replay but I wasn't allowed to go as it was a school night, I do remember loads of pompey fans travelled up that day

@pn_jordan_cross Spending big money on the Australian players seems a big mistake. They have all struggled with the intensity and pace of the English game, hence all the injuries. Jacob Farrell has only played 1 or 2 games in his 18? months at Pompey. This has caused the left back issue we have.

@pf2011 Hi Paul, my overriding memory of a Hull City game was an FA Cup tie in 1967 I think. After a draw at Boothferry Park the replay at Fratton ended in a 2-2 draw. This was possibly my first evening game at Fratton. It went to another reply at Coventry I think and Pompey won 3-1.

My memories of Hull City away, I've only been to Hull once, it was the 1st game of the season in the mid 80's, and the old ground, not sure if the new ground is on the same site? 2-2 draw #pompey
