How to license Microsoft CoPilot (in pounds, as this briefing is taking place in London: £24.95 per user, per month, minimum 300 licenses (for now). Generally available as of Nov 1.

@Nicola_Shaver Copilot requires significant compute time (money) to crawl and index all of the content in the tenancy of the customer (law firm in this case). It doesn't make sense to this for smaller customers, it isn't profitable yet. Maybe it will be eventually.

@beaum Would like to understand this better, Beau. Not talking about subsidizing but if minimum number of licenses is 300 and you only have 50 people, doesn’t make sense to license CoPilot (as you’d be paying for 250 licenses you don’t need). They do say this will change in time.
