@cwebbonline It’s their “top concern” because that is what their all-day news streams TELLS them it should be their top concern. If you ask them WHY it’s their top concern, they have no idea how to respond.

The media keeps telling us that immigration is a top concern for voters.
I’m a voter and it’s not my top concern. I’m clear-eyed on the fact that immigrants drive this economy. Crime committed by immigrants is lower than crime committed by U.S. citizens and I feel no threat or concern from them taking my job or doing me harm.
The immigrants I’ve known, undocumented or otherwise, are good, hard-working people.
Follow @JerradChristian. He gets it. I wish more folks in the political realm took the time and had the heart to look into the facts and just — care.

We are the government - and every choice is made in our names. Never forget how you want to be represented. I went to Mexico to learn and to see a world unfiltered by press or the opinions of another. The suffering of our fellow humans should never be hidden from our site. We need to rebuild our nation and our world on foundations of stone - kindness, thoughtfulness, intelligent choices. Not the foundations of sand - fear, hate, and division. We must work to lift others out of despair and anger and I can say with all confidence, when their lives are better, our lives are better

@MrZachG @untitld_project It’s true about the “unlearning.” You will see a fair amount of guessing - based on the first couple letters, etc. If they have “sight words”, they may confuse them - then for when, etc.

@untitld_project I can also pre-test for Corrective Reading, but I feel like easier to just dive right into this because we have less than a month... what do you think?

My daughter is 6 lessons away from finishing this book. She can read like a 1st grader and she's 4. A new student just entered my middle school who is unable to decode. I will end the year by teaching him with this book.

I know we’re all struggling with higher electric bills. Over the last 5 years, the average Tampa Electric bill went up 51%, and the average Duke Energy bill rose 28%. Florida relies on natural gas for 74% of its electricity needs - more than any other state. Consumers would not be so vulnerable to global fuel price swings if more of the state’s energy came from renewable sources. It’s better for our wallets, future, and environment.

Angel Cuz Choc is accused of murdering his girlfriend and her 4 y/o daughter. My office is now seeking the death penalty. This tragedy is made even worse by the fact that the defendant took advantage of our weak borders entering the U.S. illegally. He will be held accountable.
