Berube coaches a system that can only win with Vezina level goaltending. His system allows his goalies to routinely getting shelled, night in and night out and he has the stones to call out Woll? This guy is a bigger buffoon than even I thought.

@WatchMyReview @theXtwitt I may disagree. Stolarz had a career year last year. Journeyman back up. Holl injury riddled and Hildeby has potential. Bottom 3rd in NHL IMO. The defence core is slow and unskilled. You have 2-3 forwards who can make offensive contributions. The trajectory could continue sadly.

@theXtwitt I am very confident. We have deep, good goaltending and I truly believe Berube is done and with a new system alone, we are better.

Try to get that pick this year because no way Leafs are close to this bad next year. There won't be any giving up a top 5 or top 10 pick next year.

It annoys me when Leaf fans knock a Maccelli for scoring a lot when the team is out of it, while ignoring he's playing more and that helps add to the goal total. AND McMann, Laughton, Roy all are also scoring more on other teams with more TOI. We aren't using players right. It has nothing to do with a player deciding to play better after the season is lost. Imagine Laughton taking some of Matthews' huge defensive minutes? That also would have been a good idea..

With intent, Treliving built a bigger, slower, less skilled team than we have ever seen in the Matthews era. This was a bad team last year but was bailed out by unreal goaltending and a lack of injuries. Injuries, the loss of 16 and average goaltending has led to where we belong.
