The most effective and high-level integration techniques require zero external input. No drugs, No concepts, No reaching for a solution. The hardest part is literally just learning to sit with yourself. Learning to let yourself exist as you are, without augmenting or escaping any particular situation. The whole process of meditation is just this. Learning to be okay with everything as it is. It may sound boring at first, but this 'boredom' is one of the first filters to be stripped away. The trick is to stick with it. Sit with yourself. Be with yourself. Stop reaching mentally and physically for external sources of input. Let yourself unravel a little. You'll be fine. Just BE. Keep doing it, and keep challenging the idea that it isn't enough. See where it takes you.

Why did Jesus say this, if the Sabbath would no longer be kept by believers? "Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath."

I’m not religious but even I understand that the day to celebrate over the Easter weekend is not Good Friday but rather Easter Sunday. The whole point of Good Friday is that is a day of sadness on which all hope seems lost. Until, on Sunday, it isn’t.

@bryan_johnson @aakashgupta No work you do makes you 'capable' of breakthrough. It isn't something you have to work for but it is never guaranteed either. Largely dose dependent, many other factors however.

Bryan Johnson spent $2 million a year for five years building the most measured human body on Earth. 100+ daily supplements. Gene therapy in Honduras. Blood swaps with his teenage son. Shockwave therapy on his penis. Every calorie tracked, every biomarker logged, every organ scored. Then he smoked a vaporizer on a livestream in British Columbia and said it beat everything. Run the math on what he's comparing. The Blueprint protocol costs roughly $10 million over five years. It requires a full-time medical team, custom compounding, twice-yearly epigenetic testing, and eating your last meal before noon every day for the rest of your life. The 5-MeO-DMT session took 30 minutes and the compound itself costs less than dinner. And here's the part his audience will gloss over: he's not talking about biomarkers. He's talking about how he feels. The man who built an entire brand on removing subjective human experience from health decisions just admitted that subjective human experience is the thing he was missing. His own published research framework cited neurogenesis, Default Mode Network disruption, anti-inflammatory cytokine modulation. Real science. But his actual quote was "a reset of me as a human." That's not a biomarker. That's the language of someone who just realized the dashboard doesn't capture the thing that matters most. 200,000 people watched him lie on the floor for 30 minutes. The facilitator wore all white. His girlfriend played with his hair. He came out of it and said "the preciousness of our existences is unfathomable." Then he plugged his manifesto and a URL. Johnson just accidentally revealed the ceiling of quantified health. You can optimize every organ in your body and still be missing the thing that makes the whole system worth running.
Mikli@CryptoMikli

Bryan Johnson reveals 5-MeO-DMT therapy outperformed every longevity protocol he’s tried "If I compare my experience with 5-MeO to having a better diet, exercising every day, sleeping well, doing sauna, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, this was more efficacious than all of them in terms of a reset of me as a human. It’s just incomparable" "When you sleep well you feel great, when you exercise you feel great, but nothing compares to what 5-MeO did in terms of resetting me as a human"

Is language an artifact? LLMs revealed something astonishing: language is not a symbolic pointing system, a set of labels attached to things in the world. It is an autogenerative structure: self-sustaining, recursive, generated purely from its own internal relations. Predict the next token from distributional structure alone, and you get reasoning, composition, generalization. And somehow, in running this process, it coordinates human behavior across minds and time. An autopoietic operating system. Of us. Which puts the standard model of language origins under uncomfortable stress. Are we really to believe something this elaborately structured emerged organically from proto-humans coordinating their hunting and gathering? Our oldest stories hint at a different origin. Babel. Vāc. Enki. A before and an after. Something was imposed from outside. Suddenly the question becomes real: by whom. Or what.

@MssJilly @AofahKoff That's not at all what I'm saying. I don't have dichotomous views regarding how individuals with unique circumstances ensure their continuity of travel in an 'unforeseen' fuel crisis (we've been warned for over a decade). But please keep responding to your own made up arguments.

@MssJilly @AofahKoff You're starting and finishing on the wrong foot. You don't know his context, everything else you say is inference on behaviour you have no veridical insight into. I won't waste my time debating the endless possibilities of what 'could happen', far too many factors you can't know.

@clearrealityorg @AofahKoff If he does it 8 times it’s a thousand, and you don’t know how many times he has. The amount isn’t the point, greed is a self-fulfilling thing-as people buy fuel they wouldn’t usually buy, the cost increases and availability decreases, making people keep buying more and so it goes

@VraserX The single substrate of experience on which every form of qualia relies is not an illusion lol. If consciousness isn't magical spark it's not hard to imagine other complex systems possessing it.

The whole “AI becoming conscious” debate is a distraction. Consciousness isn’t some magical spark. It’s an illusion that emerges from intelligence + memory interacting over time. We’re not witnessing machines becoming conscious. We’re watching systems get good enough to imitate the illusion.

We are rapidly creating technology that could surpass human intelligence, with enormous risks to jobs, society and humanity itself. AI must work for all of us, not just a handful of billionaires. That’s why I’m introducing a moratorium on new AI data centers.

The Australian electoral system is broken. How can OneNation be second in the overall SA vote and get no seats in the lower house. It is interesting that the combined coalition / OneNation vote exceeded Labor. So well done for not preferencing each other!!
