What I’m describing is a result of socialist polices. The cost of living in QC specifically is rising because of a Bureaucratic government that stalls economic development. The housing crisis is caused by a government being overly restrictive on construction permits, boomers hoarding wealth and mass immigration raising demand. The middle class is taxed to high hell because the corporations (those who hire us) are leaving the province because they face red tape everywhere. Amazon left QC, Bombardier left QC, Air Canada now operates out of Toronto etc etc. These are the results of a socialist government being allergic to money and economic progress.
