@JonahTuls Cowboys brought on a few 2nd & 3rd rd players for 30 visits. This doesn't add up. Cowboys need a ton of help still on defense. They should be trading down for more picks than giving up the little capital they have.

Not saying this is inaccurate, but this would be one of the all-time trade underpays.

@Nick_Herrera34 Only Lemon had solid production. Tate & Tyson not so much. Yes Tate had Smith opposite him but let's be real. None of the teams picking in the top 10 are enamored with those receivers. They don't have a choice because this draft doesn't have a Chase or Jefferson.

I am not ruling out the Cowboys drafting a WR in the 1st round and turning around and trading Pickens Based on some of the hints I am hearing from Jerry/Stephen and the contract status, I think that it's a realistic direction they go if the right guy falls to them.

@JohnOwning The problem is, if they are 14 1st rd grades. Cowboys may not get one. Especially on defense. Me personally I think the receivers are sorry compared to years past. If I'm in the war room, I advocating for trading down. Nobody's holding a gun to your head to pick #12.

Jerry Jones yesterday: “I’ve looked at that mirror a lot, about how to go up and down and trade and do those kinds of things. And absolutely, we’ll entertain improving or an in-draft read on what gives us a better chance to get another player, and still have our pick and the red meat of top players. Now that has an on the board aspect to it, but it’s very doable. And yes you should, when you’ve got the kind of assets or the kind of ammunition we’ve got in this draft, you should look at all machinations. It’s one thing to sit here right now, it’s another thing to sit and look at it three hours into the draft and see what you got there. So all of that is a possibility. We’ve had our best work, we had four and five times the draft capital back in the early years that I was involved in NFL of an average team. And we missed on some, we missed on some trades, but we nailed a few. The main thing is because we had that much capital, we were probably cutting and shooting more at that particular time. We certainly had some success during that time. Probably nothing affects in the draft being able, this is an obvious statement, but nothing, no amount of skill, no amount of knowledge, can beat having a lot of draft capital, having a lot of picks. That’ll win most of the time.”
