Think that's bad? Imagine the wall of stink hitting you in the face after popping the hatch on a German U-boat that's been on an 8 week patrol during WW2. Those sailors never showered during a patrol and there was only 2 bathrooms for around 50 men. It was some poor bastards job to go in there and clean up the boat afterwards.

When the Apollo hatches were opened the recovery teams recoiled at the odor, I'm sure it isn't like that this time around.
