These Mamas never stood with rights of tamil people or with democratic values. They choose to stand with people who are anti-tamilnadu. This is the reason Periyar pointed-out, that, these people are like leeches who sucks the blood of ordinary Tamil civilian and choose to love oppressors. The large section of colonial British govt machinery was run by these people. They were police officers, tax collectors, judges, editors, officials served under British to enslave non-brahmin Indian masses. Why Periyar & Dravidian movement was loved by large section of people during his time? Becos of these brahminical leeches collaboration with British establishment. Roughly around 2.6 lakh Inam land powers were rested with these upper caste brahmins which constitutes roughly 80% of cultivable land of Tamilnadu and madras state. The brahmins not only controlled temples, they were controlling large section of cultivated land. By direct or indirect means they enjoyed ownership to these lands. British didn't taxed these lands as it was portrayed as land given to priests for religious purposes. Once British Queen decided to abolish these land concessions, after the north indian revolt 1858, the brahmin section wanted to resist British. They used mass uprisings to their advantage to negotiate with British to get powerful positions & concessions. They formed Congress as a negotiating body with British enjoy power. Inam lands were lakhs of acres of paddy fields in Cauvery Delta, vaigai river, Tamirabarani river and north tamilnadu irrigated lands, and they were tied to temples or given to brahmins. Dravidian movement , esp Anna wrote in detail about 'why Inam lands to be abolished' explained how landlord system works under Brahmin-British coalition. He called for abolition rights of these lands. Once land ownership was challenged in multiple fronts from Dravidian and Left movements, the brahmins had to leave these lands to ordinary peasents of various non brahmin castes. Till 1960s Inam lands were enjoyed by these people who never choose to do hard labor on their own lands. The reason why Sumanth Raman kind of people spitting venom against non-brahmin politics is that, non-brshmin uprising liberated land controls by brahmins. And Dravidian movement was the key behind this. So is obvious reason that these people always choose to stand against Tamilnadu. If we fight for our rights on cauvery, sumanth kind of people choose to stand with other side, same with mullai-periyar & fishermen killing and etc. Brahminical section always choose to stand with oppressors of Tamils, be it British or be it BJP.
