@LukeEdwardsTele where did I lie? I said Julián wants to go, as he just confirmed. I said Barça want him and up to Atléti, and that’s the case. Lies? Zero. You did 500 tweets saying Isak was gonna stay… or Trafford going NUFC same day went City. Think about yourself, then you talk about me. 🤗

This is the blueprint. Help start the fire by excitedly reporting the interest. Add kindling to ensure it keeps burning by constantly tweeting the same thing with the words changed or moved into a different order. Watch the fire spread, wait for the player to say he wants the move and then declare it’s up to the clubs to agree a fee. His current club didn’t want to sell but now the conditions for the buying club to succeed have been stoked and the wind is in their favour. Job done. And it will be repeated.

🚨💣 BREAKING! Julián Álvarez: “The best thing for me is a TRANSFER and I want to FULFILL MY DREAM”. 🔥 As always reported, Julián has agreed to join Barça and wants the move. It depends on clubs now… …after €100m bid rejected few weeks ago.

‘Tonali will pick up an improved pay packet of £275,000 per week with Spurs if the deal goes through.’ Unbelievable! So THAT’S why he’s entertaining the offer. God only knows what his agent has been promised, too. #nufc

Once again, the EPL is broken. Spurs, in massive debt because of the stadium build, and havign finished 17th the previous two seasons, should not be able to pay more for a player than a team with ZERO debt who has been in UCL 2 of the last 3 seasons... let alone the 80m fee.

It’s not personal. But Spurs shouldn’t even be part of the conversation. Man City and Chelsea are the two outliers here because they did quite literally buy their way to the top at a time where regulation didn’t prevent them from doing so. They’ve also clearly broken rules and their punishments have been minimal to non existent. Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal were already the establishment and had pre existing fan bases and revenue that allowed them to spend the most. But it annoys me that Spurs are mentioned as beneficiaries of PSR, because we are not. We organically grew the club over the course of 2 decades. From being perennially mid table, to being a staple in the top 6 of the league - playing in Europe every season. Building a new stadium and training ground. Alongside a highly effective social media strategy, which included capitalising on the Asian market and growing the clubs global fan base. All of this has now resulted in our turnover being up there with the very best, which means that we are finally able to pay higher wages and transfer fees without the risk of breaching PSR. It took 20 years to make it to this point. It didn’t happen overnight. And there is absolutely nothing stopping teams like Villa and Newcastle from going down the same road. For years and years Spurs were criticised for not taking that extra step and spending that bit more to take us to the next level. We didn’t buy a player for nearly two years to enable our move to the new stadium. We missed out on transfer targets year after year because we weren’t prepared to push the boat out and risk PSR breaches. And now we’re actually in a position to strengthen properly, no doubt motivated by the fear of near relegation - it’s because we’re part of ‘the big 6’ and it’s un fair on everyone else. Do me a favour. We’ve earned this. Argue with yourself

To all the Spurs fans taking this personally, but clearly do not understand the point, listen to @Sjopinion10 here - He explains it perfectly.
