@therecount It's an embarrassment to have someone like this in office. Guns are for self protection. There is no rationale for everyday citizens owning automatic weapons designed for our military to kill the enemy en masse, not to hunt deer or for self protection.

@RepSwalwell Great leadership Eric! There is no reason for any citizen to own an automatic rifle - when citizens can obtain an AR easier than enlisted U.S. Marine (the process for checking in & out AR's on base is tightly controlled); Shouldn't be easier for me to get an AR than a Marine.

I applaud the President’s executive order which will further enhance the background check process before firearms are sold and hold those accountable who seek to intentionally evade the rules. This will save lives.

@RepSwalwell What's hard to believe is that banking reserves have only gone down after the 2008 meltdown. After the Great depression, bank reserves rqmts increased to 25%. After 2008, the Fed lowered the requirement to 0%, only raising to 10% in 2020; who's watching the banks???
