@Kharn999 @JayDyer @Rach4Patriarchy @HadesUndead @ByJimbob We don’t really need to though. We aren’t really playing defense in this whole thing. The prots are the ones hemorrhaging people

@JayDyer @Rach4Patriarchy @HadesUndead @ByJimbob It’d be cool have an orthodox group of guys do a response just like they did.

@AngloVarangian The Cappadocian Fathers are my favorite. St. Gregory the theologian is my patron saint:

Dear @elonmusk Jesus Christ is God and the Orthodox Church is the One True Church.
English

Been busy with Church events and pastoral needs and I forgot about the big conference. So did the Orthodox Church get owned and sent on its way to destruction? Should I be worried that all our catechumen and converts are going to quit?
Fr. Michael Lillie@FrLillie
Yeah, Protestants are really scared so many are finding the Church.
English

@TrevorSAndersen @T4Peace @JayDyer I think it is incredibly minor compared to most sins people deal with.

Orthodox brothers, take your anonymous online persona and show your priest what you’re doing.
Tell him an Orthodox brother named Apollos Cassian talked with @JayDyer for about 20 minutes. Tell him Apollos said some things awkwardly and could have framed his concerns better.
Then tell him what happened afterward.
Jay said Apollos was Catholic, even though Apollos clearly stated he was Orthodox. Jay then spread more false information, calling Apollos an ecumenist. The next day, Jay claimed Apollos is "actually insane.” None of that is true.
So if you believe mocking, misrepresenting, and spreading false claims about an Orthodox brother is righteous, bring it into the light. Show your priest your posts, your replies, and your accusations.
Ask yourself, is this of Christ? Not online Orthodoxy. Not influencer apologetics. Not tribal loyalty. Christ.
If he has questions, you have my name. I’m reachable on Facebook.

Both Ortlund and Wood just did streams where they imply or outright deny Orthodox are even Christians or “saved,” yet claim Orthodox are bad for “exclusivism.” All the mainline Prot apologists are being exposed as massive hypocrites who can’t even say what the Church is or where it is, unless it’s actually the historic Church lol.
English

@TrevorSAndersen @T4Peace @JayDyer I don’t know. Haven’t spoken to him about it because there are other things more important than hurting babies feelings for me to repent of.
English

@TrevorSAndersen @T4Peace @JayDyer I do have a priest and a bishop. I am a baptized Orthodox Christian.
English

@sanderson1611 What do you mean? We, the Orthodox, are just following the scriptures and their example. You’re the one who has man made tradition not found in the Bible or even the first 1000 years of Christianity. No apostle would recognize your “church” as a church. They would all condemn you
English

@holywoodheckler @C2Antiquity People are convinced by apologetics. It is commanded and seen in the Bible and history very often.
English

@C2Antiquity More posts like this, this is how someone is convinced of orthodoxy not apologetics. Peace

Today during the liturgy, we had an older priest monk serve while our parish priest was serving a mission.
The old monks voice was quiet and shaky as he diligently made his way through the service, every motion was done with purpose. The amount of incense used in the censor filled the entire sanctuary with smoke. Causing the light to shine down in beams through the glass windows.
Watching the priest monk serve, his face still full of joy and life despite his advanced age. My mind wandered with thoughts of what his life must have been like in his early priesthood, his service in the church for all those years.
As I saw him coming through the holy doors, censor in hand, performing a service he must have performed thousands of times in his life. I thought of the previous priest (now reposed) censing the sanctuary standing where this priest monk did now, I pictured our parish priest there, and imagined the next priest to come along doing the same thing.
I was overwhelmed with a sense I was participating in something much bigger. (Which I’m not afraid to admit here) it nearly brought me to tears.
How much do we take for granted we are able to participate in this heavenly liturgy which has been performed longer than we can rightly contemplate.
Lord have mercy upon me for not recognizing each moment the magnitude of love He has for us.

@Alex_Ortodoxie @C2Antiquity @KellyPowersBPA @ByJimbob How can anyone actually defend sola scriptura in 2026? lol
English

This coming Friday (June 26) at 9:00pm EST, I’ll be debating @KellyPowersBPA on sola scriptura!!
“Is the Bible the only infallible and ultimate authority for Christian faith and practice today?”
(Hint: NO)
Catch it LIVE on YouTube, hosted at @ByJimbob.

@korrathetaymi Hey you should have posted this on Reddit back in 2005. It doesn’t work in 2026.

The mustard seed dilemma is MAKING waves. Christians, answer me this: If Jesus says in Mark 4:31, “It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth,” yet we know the orchid seed is the smallest seed on earth, did the biblical Jesus get it wrong? Does this show the counterfeit Jesus of the Bible to be a liar? And would that then make Jesus, the man-God to Christians, not God at all for not knowing everything?
(The Muslim Jesus would never make such a mistake.) 🤍
