@echo5juliet Gonna plug my employer here since you opened the door to this! Since 2018, SAN's stormwater system has captured & treated 5M gallons of storm runoff and used it in our central utility plant cooling towers. This reduces the amount of potable water otherwise used for this purpose.

I know I cracked some shade earlier but hear me out. Rainwater is free. Maybe build a few strategic diverter points valves that push storm water into the sewer system so it feeds into the toilet to tap system? Like Fashion Valley and S.Mission in front of the Beachcomber?

@RachelLaing @objkshn @vosdscott @MayorToddGloria Yep — hundreds evicted and it’s now The Andaz. The Churchill was next, but the owner didn’t apply for the exemption, so the Housing Commission got ownership. It’s now supportive housing.
