It does feel highly unique and specific to each portfolio company at the moment. Even if we had two in the same industry, they would require two unique workflows to gather all available context, and then that context would (theoretically) result in two very different go-forward workflows.

@buccocapital Yup. And the *only* tiny thing that Silicon Valley doesn’t see is how archaic many of the systems are in actual enterprises. So our workflows here sadly aren’t indicative of what it’s going to look like in the real world. But equally this is the huge opportunity right now.

May Bobby Jenks rest in peace. One of my favorite players from my favorite Chicago team of all time. Living and working in the city at the ripe old age of 22. Watching every game from the CS conference room. Living and dying with every pitch. Bobby was a major part of the most dominant postseason pitching performance in baseball history, and closed out the Series. Seems like only yesterday. Legend.

My first job was at Enron and yet Chicago is the most financially irresponsible organization I’ve ever seen. Anyone who buys this debt deserves to be zeroed out in the inevitable restructuring. Underfunded pensions, pension holidays, monetized 75 years of parking rev & 99 years of toll road & garage rev, securitized sales tax revs, scoop and toss debt restructuring, overreliance on TIF districts, short term loans at CPS...

@calculatedrisk I have many friends who own or lease a Tesla. Not one has ever mentioned switching to another EV brand. From what I have seen, there is no compelling reason to switch, especially from a quality/maintenance perspective. @Keith_Wasserman @DPodein
