@francoimpell Qualitative studies are just hypothesis generating and it would be nice to do more work on this potential association. Experimental studies of mental fatigue with injury as a dependent variable are impossible but good epidemiology could be done.

The title is provocative but there are also other lines of evidence (e.g. more sports injuries during exam periods and changes in motor control after experimentally induced MF) that suggest mental fatigue may contribute to injury. More work needed sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
