I am excited to announce that Arcarae has $2.5M in funding and I am finally hiring. Arcarae’s mission is to help humanity remember and unlock the power each individual holds within themself so they can bring into reality their unique, authentic expression of self without fear or compromise. I've been building a new thing with Windsurf and I spent the last hour in almost hysterical laughter because the responses are just so good. My project has 39,205 lines of code, and Cursor can't answer questions about it. Cursor's context seems to be capped at around 10,000 tokens. Unfortunately, this is not enough for any decent-sized project. If you have a large codebase, check out @augmentcode. This thing is faaaast! I'm currently using their Visual Studio Code plugin, but you can also use them on JetBrains, Neovim, and even Vim. (I'm a Neovim fan, but Copilot's implementation for Neovim is nowhere as good as Augment Code.) Augment Code was gracious enough to sponsor this post. After you install their extension and run it for the first time, it will index your entire codebase. This is why it can answer questions as fast as it does, regardless of the size of your codebase. Augment Code supports chat and completions like every other AI coding assistant, but its killer feature is "Next Edit." When you make a change, two things happen: 1. The model analyzes the change to determine the ripple effects across your *entire* codebase. 2. The model suggests everything you need to update to ensure everything works correctly. This is pretty wild!

ok MCPs with Cursor blew my mind and they're all over my feed, here's why you should care: Basically an MCP is like a plugin that translates apps to an LLM, so an agent can talk to those apps and services. Think of it like giving your AI agent the ability to see and act inside those apps like, Supabase, Github, Linear, Figma etc.. It can go grab real-time data, take actions, control these apps. All those workflows possible by just chatting with your agent. So your LLM doesn't wait for you to explain how your database is setup, what's written in your notion doc, when to push an update to Slack, update a bug in Linear, make changes to a Google Doc. Really feels like another big unlock. I gathered a few tweets for reference and resources you should look at below.

We disagree. It's not about censorship. I've never asked for censorship. It's about hate speech crowding out people who don't want to be where hate is. And if I wanted to be adored. This is not the place to go. Lol Despite @elonmusk being a non stop joyride of positivity towards me 😂 And while social media as a whole may reflect the world. This platform certainly does not. It's not only become and echo chamber, in many cases it's hard to know whether a post is originated by a bot. I've been active here for a long time. The nature of conversations in my replies and shown to me has changed considerably. Including many people who used to be active here, rarely or no longer posting. I think it's because the algorithm is designed to reward the largest account and those, particularly paying users, who engage with it. To some that is a huge positive. To me the platform would be better served if Elon kept on posting but removed himself from the algo. His posts influence what the entire site sees. Removing them from the algo would democratize the site considerably. Every entrepreneur makes their own decisions and time tells if they are right or wrong. So we will see.

In the “bet-you-didn’t-know” category, Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas issued written guidance making it clear that: 1. Illegal presence alone is not grounds for deportation. 2. Criminal charges, convictions or gang membership alone are not enough for deportation. You basically have to be a convicted axe murderer to be deported!
