UCSF/ZSFG Emergency Medicine residents have organized a program to allow patients to vote while in the ER, even those on 5150/5250 holds. The program gets the ballot to the pt's bedside, assists them in completing it (if needed) & an on-site secure ballotbox was procured Amazing

Props to these organizers calling out @StanfordMed’s “algorithm error” resulting in admins > frontline providers and support staff. This is just the beginning of vaccine distribution. We must advocate for equity & ethics at every stage.
