I want to address this. I fully agree. While i have respect for someone who believes what they believe and sticks to it, that doesn’t make them an ally.
Massie lost because he exposed the Epstein files. He also emboldens Putin. There aren’t always just two sides to every battle.

The Thucydides Trap describes the DANGEROUS structural tension that occurs when a rapidly rising power (in this case China) threatens to displace an established ruling power (the USA), typically leading to heightened rivalry and risk of conflict.
