Lafimmas Hayes was released from prison last month due to overcrowding and reportedly started a fight with a New Orleans bar employee while the employee was taking the trash out.
That argument escalated into Mr. Haynes shooting the bar employee and one other bystander before Tulane police arrived on scene.
As you can see by the marksmanship displayed here it seems the Tulane police may want to reevaluate their officer marksmanship training going forward.

They're trying to Tet Offensive the Iran war. For those who don't remember, the Tet Offensive was a military success but Walter Cronkite came on the air and declared it to be a disaster and everyone just believed him.

Because of the 2D viewing... if this is real... the missile explosion was far behind the F-18 and clearly had no effect. The unseen part - most likely due to poor video resolution - is the F-18 was most likely trailing an SM-50 IR decoy designed to defeat cheapo manpads.

In the 3rd picture you see that explosion actually occurs well behind the tail, if it had hit the tail there would be obvious flames and fragmentation around the tail in that picture.

Of you actually continue the footage from that point you will see the tail and VENs are perfectly intact and functioning. The sound signature does not change nor is there airframe fragmentation.

A fire starting is completely plausible ... having so few functioning fire control systems in place that it causes wide scale damage that puts the entire ship out of commission in the middle of active combat is a stretch
