"Pam Bondi actually had decent reputation. She was a real prosecutor and a real DA. I don't think she was a rocket scientist, but she was respected in her own way. And now she's basically going to be remembered forever as being the worst attorney general in history."

@MHTruthUltra You are very young. Too young perhaps to understand, but we were once the good guys. Now, at best, we are the slightly less evil and corrupt guys. And that is only because there are some really, really insanely evil and corrupt guys out there and we are playing catchup.

We can't pretend we're the "good guys" when we starve an island full of millions of people (Cuba), destroy fishermen at will (Venezuela), bomb schools (Iran), and support a regime that does the same to their neighbors (Israel). We’re not the good guys. We never have been.

@lord_on_high @FreeMediame @edwardfishman @JavierBlas @CFR_org Well, we can go back as far as we want, and argue about it for millennia, (not necessarily disagreeing with you) but two people benefit from this. Netanyahu, and Putin. Strategically, China is also strengthened. Western world is harmed immeasurably. Also, Epstein files.

Brilliant analysis of Trump’s decision to ease sanctions on Iran and Russia in an effort to bring down oil prices Has it worked? My @CFR_org colleague Roxanna Vigil finds it has generated windfalls for Tehran and Moscow while doing little to lower prices: cfr.org/articles/trump…

Rep. Rich McCormick: "We were horrible in Vietnam until we did Rolling Thunder One and Rolling Thunder Two, and then we won. As soon as we do half-measures, we lose. The faster we get this over the better. If we seize Kharg Island, it's technically boots on the ground. It could be done almost flawlessly. If we have enough firepower, it would be very easy to defend."

@Acyn @MeidasTouch I thought this little excursion was already won. Maybe next time don’t threaten NATO allies with taking a member country’s property and rally allies before doing Israel’s bidding. This invasion has zero benefit for anyone other that Putin and Netenyahu. Also, Epstein files now.

Hegseth: When we undertake an effort of this scope on behalf of the free world. These are missiles that don't even range the United States of America. They range allies and others. And yet, when we ask for additional assistance or simple access and overflight, we get questions or roadblocks or hesitations. And the president's pointing out you don't have much of an alliance. If you have countries that are not willing to stand with you when you need them. He's simply pointing that out. And ultimately it'll be his decision of what that looks like after this is completed.

@DissentFu @factpostnews You mean like when the air traffic controllers struck? Displacing and eliminating TSA is part of Project 2025. They want ICE in there. That is the point. Why? Here is a hint, it has nothing to do with immigration control.

@SenAmyKlobuchar Incredibly, every other country manages to verify citizenship to vote. For some reason a small vocal percentage of politicians try to gaslight Americans that limiting our elections to U.S. citizens is somehow disenfranchising.

Senator Murkowski makes it clear: legislation being pushed through Congress could make it harder for thousands of Alaskans and rural Americans — both Republicans and Democrats — to register to vote.   Voting rights should not be a partisan issue.

The context is the ongoing 2026 Iran war. It escalated after the US-Israel assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on Feb 28 in Tehran. Iran has since launched missile/drone strikes on Israel (injuring dozens today), US bases, and regional allies, with retaliatory airstrikes continuing. Trump issued an ultimatum yesterday for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face more action on their energy sites. Oil prices spiked, and 22 countries called for de-escalation.

I don't think many ppl understand, the USA is an oil exporter, and USA took Venezuela (the largest oil reserves in the world). Strait of Hormuz can stay closed as far as USA is truly concerned, we don't need that oil, but the rest of the world dose. Is France going to defend the strait or buy oil from Russia? Not many options here.

⚠️Ukrainian instructors sent to assist in the Middle East are shocked by how the US intercepts targets, according to The Times According to Ukrainian officers and instructors from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who were involved in the defense of the Gulf countries, "the US launched as many as 8 Patriot missiles at a single enemy target, each costing over 3 million dollars," and also: "I don't understand what they were doing, what they were watching for four years while we’ve been at war."
