@debarghya_das It is interesting that all supporters of this absolutely nonSense act are from one country! when you are trying to inform (misinform) others, be honest and don’t generalize it to all immigrants, because “one country gets majority of the GC’s card’s Act” is not fair by any means!

The EAGLE act, which would've removed the 100+yr wait for the US green card for ~750k Indians, was pulled from the House floor this week. Had it passed, ~5-15k laid off immigrant tech workers in the US would be able to stay instead of being forced out in 2mos! Here's why– 1/10

@amazon_policy EagleAct is a big lie and you Amazon instead of being proud, should be ashamed for supporting a bill that deprives many countries from getting green cards for so many years and for spreading the untruthfulness and abusing the immigration system only for your profits! #NoEagleAct

We are proud to support the EAGLE Act and are continuing advocate for common sense immigration reform on behalf of our employees and their families. We urge Congress to pass the #EAGLEAct, lifting unfair per-country visa caps for employment-based green cards.

You guessed it right! The average ROW country gets <0.5% (only 7 got >2% & only 13 got 1-2% in 2019) Meanwhile, the EagleAct sponsors claim that small and large countries get “the same allocation” In practice, large countries get a larger share and small ones a small share

What do you think is the % share of the EB green cards allocated to each ROW country (on average)? Hint: Chart below.

Next time @Haleaziz has a dialogue with David Bier (CATO), he should ask Bier why he likes to pit Indians against the Iranians, who have been the most vocal against bill S386, and why he thinks they are all "pizza makers" instead of skilled-workers.

So basically when IV estimate their backlog to be 100 years. Mr. Siskind is like “yes.” And then when row +Chinese say our backlog will be long, he goes “no real way to know the number.” ?????? Did we miss anything? Or is this double standard? #NoHR1044

#3: CALL your house members and Speaker Pelosi. Explain the controversy and highlight the "Chinese Exclusion Act". If your House member has voted NAY to HR1044 in July 2019, your call is more important.
