I see a major realignment taking shape in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape right now. Look at how the chess pieces are moving. On one side, @TVKVijayHQ is pulling off an old-school, MGR-style playbook by actively consolidating Dalits, fishermen, minorities, and Brahmins into a unique coalition. On the flip side, I see a powerful OBC consolidation emerging under Annamalai. This leaves the @AIADMKOfficial in an absolute tight spot. With the ongoing exodus from their ranks, it's only logical that the remaining base will drift toward @TTVDhinakaran, which, honestly, makes perfect sense. In fact, I actually want TTV to lead the ADMK. Add to that the fact that @draramadoss has successfully held onto his core base, and the political math starts to add up. Ultimately, I anticipate @annamalai_k, TTV, and Anbumani operating as a single, unified bloc, essentially anchoring the State's OBC alignment. The internal logic of this potential bloc is what makes it so fascinating. While Anbumani is clearly the favorite for the Vanniyars, and has clearly proven his hold, TTV and Annamalai bring a completely different x-factor to the table: they have the unique ability to make voters stop and think. Annamalai, in particular, knows how to tap into the youth. A lot of his core backers clearly shifted to Vijay for this election, but it’s highly logical to expect them to slide right back to Annamalai once he takes full charge again. He has this innate capacity to make the entire political narrative revolve around him. Whether his politics is right or wrong is debatable, but his ability to command the center of gravity is indisputable. So, where does the @arivalayam fit into all of this? Their best bet, as @KanimozhiDMK rightfully stated, is doing what they’ve always done best: grinding it out solo at the grassroots level. The party has a rich history and an incredibly solid base, but let's be honest and real, a lot of people are dejected with some decisions made by leadership. Those missteps need to be corrected before it is too late. The DMK needs to look inward instead of blaming the people or the social media for its defeat. They need to make some bold leadership calls, like holding genuine internal party elections and bringing in fresh, capable faces to revitalize the organization from within. These are testing times. In politics, it takes just a split second or a single catalyst to completely rewrite a party's entire dynamics. There is also this widespread narrative that the BJP is going to throw a wrench in Vijay’s plans and create major roadblocks for him. I want to kill that comparison right now: Vijay is not Sasikala. Sasikala had zero popular public support; a vast majority wanted her to stay in prison forever because she simply had no real political space and people actually disliked or even hated her. @TVKVijayHQ is an entirely different "BEAST." You can't just maneuver him out of the system. He is loved by a massive section of the public, and his leverage comes directly from the streets. Having already captured real popular support as the single largest party even as a first-timer, he is likely to cement it even further in the upcoming local body elections. The absolute best the BJP can do is try to dent his momentum by weaponizing the pending Karur or ED investigations. But let's face it: they simply don't have the leverage to remove him from the chessboard. He isn't walking away; he is steadily building an unstoppable momentum. At the end of the day, politics is a game of pure uncertainty. The state cannot forget those accidental Chief Ministers like EPS or OPS who became leaders without ever winning a direct popular mandate from the people. Hopefully, that era of backdoor entries is finally over, and democracy can get back to thriving on genuine popular choice. Whether you look at Kalaignar back in 2006 or Vijay in 2026, the underlying logic is identical: they both represent the single largest party backed by a mandate derived from the Assembly floor. @TVKPartyHQ, the new party, has established its footprint, it’s here to stay, and its growth at this point is pretty much inevitable. Everyone, including those opposed to Vijay needs to accept this harsh reality. Constantly poking him out of spite or panic appears to me like a failed strategy. It will only accelerate his growth by keeping him at the center of the conversation. If his opponents want to put Vijay on the mat, they need to stop the background noise, focus on real issues, and wait until the time is truly ripe.

I have heard of a Zomato loophole which is so simple, terrifying and Zomato should be losing sleep over it A person orders 1 roti on Zomato. ₹40. Then he calls the restaurant directly 6 rotis, paneer butter masala, malai chaap, dal makhani, gulab jamun and pays them on UPI. Tells the restaurant to pack everything with that 1 roti Zomato order. The Zomato rider picks it up. Delivers home. No clue that ₹1,200 of food is riding shotgun with a ₹40 order. He’s using Zomato’s app. Zomato’s rider. Zomato’s entire logistics network and paying zero commission on 90% of his bill. It’s cheaper than booking directly from Porter and restaurant. The restaurant loves it. Full margin, no 25 to 30% Zomato cut. The customer loves it. No platform fee. No surge. No GST on the hidden portion. Zomato? Quietly subsidising the entire operation. And here’s the part nobody’s talking about this isn’t one rogue customer. Restaurants are in on it. They may be whispering this tip to regulars to keep them off the app. If this spreads, the unit economics of food delivery don’t just dip they bleed out from the inside. Zomato needs to plug this loophole. This is exploitation of the system. Zomato MUST do something to stop this. Have you seen this happening in your area?
