It's wild that some Celtics have fans have convinced themselves the Sixers are better when: - BOS has outscored Philly by 4.8 points per game headed into Game 7 - BOS finished 11 games ahead of Philly in the East - BOS had an +8.3 Net Rating this year while Philly was negative

@Samothecat Philly didn’t play together much this season. PG missed 25+ games, Embiid was out for a long time. Their regular season performance isn’t indicative of anything. Not for the Celtics over the past years apparently.

@rathernot948 Nope. Teams play for months and months. At the end of that process, you can look at tangible things like win/loss record and Net Rating. These are very strong indicators of team strength. Also, home court is a very real advantage, born out over thousands and thousands of games

@NoaDalzell Queta is just limited. He cannot be the starter next season.

I know people have been on Neemias Queta about the fouls, but this is a really tough task Joel Embiid is one of the most talented offensive centers, and he's gifted at drawing fouls Neemi has never played in the postseason before. It's a huge challenge

@seandreilly @NoaDalzell We have no option since Queta is a bum who can’t stop fouling. Also, they are a good shooting team. Maxey can hit shots. PG is shooting like 55% for 3, VJ can shoot, etc. We are cooked, basically.

@rathernot948 @NoaDalzell Either way you can’t just keep running Vuch out there. We’ve already seen the results, you at least have to try something different. Throw a zone at them. They aren’t a great shooting team.

Asked Joe Mazzulla how much he will reinvent the rotation / style of play going into Game 7. All year long, they haven’t changed the process — does that change now with the Celtics coming off back-to-back double digit losses for the first time this year? “I think you have to ask those questions. You also have to, which is difficult in a playoff series going into a Game 7, look at the stuff that you've been doing well, and the stuff that you just need to do better, and demand that of the guys. So I think it's a balance — trying to figure that out and take that into the game tomorrow.”
