@chigrl Bond market expecting inflation of aroound 2-3%. 10yr now at 3.94. 10yr should will be 4.5-5% when long term inflation expectation anchor around 3.5-4%. look at the record inversion oof the 2yr-10yr, it tells you how optimistic is the market on achieving low long term inflation.

History shows 2% inflation is not the norm (avg. Inflation across developed markets since 1900)

@zfaj Es la inflacion. Nadie cree que se mantendra. Mercado aun cree en los "good old days" de inflacion cero, politica monetaria laxa, y dinero gratis. Eso se acabo con la desglobalizacion. Inflacion esta aca para quedarse, lamentablemente.

Mientras menos probable sea que venga una recesión, menos probable se hace que las tasas de interés bajen. "Soft landing" implies high interest rates for a while.

I seem to be getting an awful of @BoeingAirplanes 777 time this week. This morning I’m off from @JFKairport to @HeathrowAirport after a very comfortable, yet short, #layover in the @TWAhotel. What a really quirky place to stay… has anyone else stayed here? What do you think?

@TheChartress Better said.. impossible... true. Traders are not used to having the FED back, nor are CEOs or CFOs of big American cos. Most of them are young, never seen inflation before.

True too for stock traders, big reason $SPX keeps dropping
