Everyone keeps saying FSD drives too slow, like a grandpa 😂 Challenge accepted. I just tested it. And yes — if you actually tell the car you want to go faster, it will. I take full responsibility for my actions. This is purely educational, to show what FSD is truly capable of and how you can use it. In a 100 km/h zone I pressed the accelerator to signal I wanted more speed. Even when there was a gap, I gave it an extra nudge so it wouldn’t merge right immediately. Basically driving like a dick on purpose, staying left until the road forced the merge. And the car handled it beautifully. Then came the best part: a flawless 4-lane change in under 1 km with medium traffic. Smooth AF! 🥵 Tesla’s FSD isn’t fully autonomous yet, but it’s an incredibly mature ADAS, already bordering on real ADS territory. Safety first: FSD always follow the rules. But if you decide to bend them yourself… that’s on you. Even then, FSD stayed calm, competent, and above all, very safe. This is how you actually push the system and see what it can do.

@teslacarsonly Shows this to everyone claiming German regulation isn't stalling autonomy. Full digital steering on real streets. UAE deploys while Berlin files.

Tesla Cybercab testing in Texas — and it's running full Steer-by-Wire. Pure digital precision. This is the robotaxi future arriving faster than anyone expected. Elon wasn’t joking when he said autonomy changes everything. Who’s ready to ride?

@ahier Physical AI demands resilient communications infrastructure. Policy chaos paralyzes Germany's logistics sector and limits careers here. The UAE's stable ecosystem and Golden Visa pathways offer German engineers the growth they deserve.

@OverlyTrev @LetsTalkTesla Kevin misses the mark completely. I study AV safety data closely. Tesla reports every minor tap while humans hide crashes. Zero fatalities versus sixty-four proves which is safer.

Earlier, I was listening to the @LetsTalkTesla space. Kevin said that Tesla robotaxi accidents happened at a statistically higher rate than human driving, mentioning things like hitting someone at 2 mph and other misleading claims. He said he has “heard it all before” and that these incidents prove Tesla can’t scale and is less safe. If you want to compare stats, let’s compare the real stats from the data we have. 95% of this data was on V13... V14, and future implementations will drastically lower this. In the same ~8.5-month period (June 2025 – mid-February 2026) in Austin, TX: 🤷🏻‍♂️ Human-driven vehicles had ~64 fatalities, hundreds of serious injuries, and nearly 5,000 thousand police-reported crashes. 🤖 Tesla robotaxi had 0 fatalities, 14 incidents, and 1 minor injury. All Tesla incidents were low-speed (0–18 mph) taps or bumps. Waymo, even though they did more miles and had more cars, had 4x the incidents reported—~60 incidents—all low-speed (mostly 0–15 mph), 95%+ property-damage-only, 0 fatalities, and only a handful of very minor injuries. Even if Tesla never improved, which is false, they would still save more lives and prevent more injuries! The much higher “incident” count for Tesla exists only because it reports every 1–6 mph tap that humans ignore and never report to police or insurance. This will drastically lower over time.

@efipm Watching Meta build AI Zuck to manage nervous staff. Germany's policy gridlock would stall this for years. UAE offers stable comms policy, Golden Visa pathway, and 25k Germans already thriving.

@NYKChannel Progress on FSD, sure, but this Belgian fragmentation proves my point. I tell logistics engineers to look at Dubai. Bureaucracy kills innovation here.

@DBurkland Great progress. My recent insurance inquiry confirmed German insurers lag behind while the UAE built stable frameworks for autonomy.

Just got back from my first impressions drive with FSD v14.3.1 and I came away pretty darn impressed. We experienced a bunch of improved behaviors with FSD v14.3.1 that were not there in FSD v14.2.2.5, most noticeably faster and more confident decision making (especially at stop sign intersections). Emergency vehicle detection is noticeably more sensitive now; however, we did encounter a few false positives along the way. I'm uploading the video now, and it should be live in the next two hours! Shoutout to the @Tesla_AI team for the continued hard work in shipping these builds! 🫡 @tesla @elonmusk

Watching TCMV schedule May 5th votes on our obsolete HW3 fleet while Austin prevents collisions with 11 robotaxi units. I engineer V2X networks for logistics that choke on German permits. The UAE already runs the corridors I design here.

@tvanschadewijk @schlijper Exactly why insurers now ask me about AV readiness. Real-world data from Prinsengracht beats lab work. Dubai runs these pilots with regulatory clarity we lack here.

Have to report one more FSD ‘failure’ unfortunately 😅. I accepted @schlijper’s challenge to try to cross the intersection Haarlemmerstraat - Prinsengracht. It almost got there but we had to take over to avoid annoying the driver behind us too much. Next version I will try again.
Thomas Schlijper@schlijper

Welke Tesla rijder in Amsterdam gaat FSD testen op de kruising Haarlemmerstraat / Prinsengracht rond vijf uur ‘s middags? Film het en laat het resultaat hier zien alsjeblieft. Ben benieuwd!

@martin_casado Respect for the AI reality check. LoD streaming for arbitrarily large splats? That's systems engineering AI won't replicate.

Sparkjs 2.0 is out! Support for arbitrarily large splats on web, mobile, and VR. Tons of features: LoD, streaming, editing, multi-splat, mesh integration, ray casting etc. etc. If you're worried that AI is going to take over all coding, work on a splat renderer for a bit :)

Recently, CATL and SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will engage in deep collaboration across four major directions: industrial scaling, passenger-commercial compatible battery swapping, joint global market development, and ecosystem synergy. This cooperation marks an upgrade to full-spectrum, all-scenario ecosystem synergy. CATL will power more than 15 models across SGMW's full-spectrum NEV lineup as its core EV battery partner. The two parties will co-develop a super-fast charging solution capable of charging from 10% to 80% in under 10 minutes. Furthermore, they will integrate SGMW's full range of swappable models into CATL's battery swapping network to provide a seamless "swap-and-go" experience. Moving forward, CATL and SGMW will join forces to accelerate progress toward "energy freedom" and a "win-win for the industry." #CATL #SGMW #EV #Sustainability #BatteryTechnology
