Holy shit. Now everyone will be able to use their @OpenClaws and all the other agentic platforms to build apps on top of X. Here's the secret: build lists. Lists are how you build apps. The pattern: Build a list of your favorite football team. Or whatever you are into. Then ask your AI agents "build an app showing me all the important news about my favorite football team." In minutes you'll have an app. And that's just the beginning. Your agent can build a script about your favorite football team that you can take to places like Google's Notebook LM. Now you have a video, a podcast, a slide deck, a game, a mind map. All about your favorite football team based on real time news. You can do the same with something like @HeyGen, create an avatar of your favorite football player. Now you will have your favorite football player telling you everything that's happening on the football team. And I could go for hours about how many things you can build and not even cover a fraction of them. This is huge. Thank you @elonmusk for making it possible to make millions of agentic apps affordably on top of X. Start building!

@Scobleizer what's UP!! Did you have anything to do with the change to X API cost for get calls?? I got the following email on Thursday... Hello X API developers, We’re excited to announce an update to our X API pricing that makes accessing your own data more affordable than ever. Owned Reads are requests made by your own developer app for your own posts, bookmarks, followers, likes, lists & more. Starting Monday, April 20, 2026, these endpoints will be priced at $0.001 per request (equivalently, 1,000 resources for $1): GET /2/users/{id}/bookmarks GET /2/users/{id}/blocking GET /2/users/{id}/muting GET /2/users/{id}/pinned_lists GET /2/users/{id}/tweets GET /2/users/{id}/mentions GET /2/users/{id}/liked_tweets GET /2/users/{id}/followers GET /2/users/{id}/following GET /2/users/{id}/owned_lists GET /2/users/{id}/followed_lists GET /2/users/{id}/list_memberships This change significantly lowers the cost of common operations such as fetching your own posts, followers, likes, bookmarks, lists, and more. Additional updates effective Monday, April 20, 2026: Writes via X API will increase to $0.015 per post (from $0.01). This applies to the main posting endpoint: POST /2/tweets. Posting a URL via X API will be priced at $0.20 per post, except for summoned replies (which will remain at $0.01). Following, Likes, and Quote-Posts via API Writes will be removed for all self-serve tiers. This affects the following actions:POST /2/users/{id}/following (and DELETE for unfollow) POST /2/users/{id}/likes (and DELETE for unlike) Quote-posting via POST /2/tweets (when using the quote_tweet_id parameter) These adjustments reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting the developer community while ensuring sustainable platform operations and helping you build even better experiences on X. For full pricing details, including the complete rate card and updated documentation, visit the X API Pricing page.

@Scobleizer @AIMSupremo There are a ton of Chinese space companies, both commercial and state-owned, working on 3-printed engines / components. They're not ahead of SpaceX, but takes a lot of faith to say they won't be in 10 years.

San Francisco knows it is way behind China. I talk about that with every nerd I meet in San Francisco. They invite me over to show they are playing a different game. Making robots that take advantage of America's strengths. What are its strengths? We are weirder than China. I once was in a bar in Shanghai. A band was playing American music perfectly. But it wasn't as good as the original. Which was ripped off of someone else anyway. We forget that being first doesn't matter. Kodak invented the digital camera. Did that matter? No. Xerox invented everything else. Did that matter? No. AltaVista was before Google in search engines. Google was the 17th to show up, if I remember right. The game isn't over for America. We are about to get weird. You think China ever would do a transexual robot? San Francisco would do it with style. You think China ever would do rock and roll? San Francisco started Metallica. You think China would build Winchester Rifle Company? Silicon Valley has the Winchester Mystery House. Started by a woman who was tormented by all the people killed by the Rifle company with her name. Silicon Valley goes there every Halloween to do weird religious studies. We can't make things as fast or as cheap as Chinese can. But we do have a lot of weirdos in San Francisco building a crazy future that would shock my mom and dad. I love living in America because it is so full of weirdos. I once met a woman who had a basement full of sex torture devices. In North Carolina. Now THAT is weird. But normal in San Francisco. And I'm so blessed that they invite me over to see what they are building. That said, if you want a robot to make you a great cup of tea, the Chinese are gonna win that game. We poured the king's tea in the harbor. Last night a very successful entrepreneur told me to tell you that when you figure out that you can build the future in your mind you will flip out. I've done the consumer research to know that people are bored. Lacking in meaning. Hopeless about the future. Which means they will attract to your weird ideas. How do I know? My mom joined a Montana Survivalist Cult. And about 80,000 other people (most of whom were highly educated) did too. It's time for the weirdos to join together and make some weird shit. Let the Chinese have their Olympics. We have Burning Man. Now THAT is weird! We need a Burning Man for Robots. Or a survivalist cult. We all hate clankers anyway, right? Optimus, make my friends a weird drink and roll us a joint or two. :-)
The Humanoid Hub@TheHumanoidHub

The contrast is striking. Tesla is inviting people to watch Optimus cheer from the sidelines at the Boston Marathon. Meanwhile, 300 humanoids from 26 Chinese OEMs actually participated in the Beijing Half Marathon. Multiple robots finished faster than the human winner, 40% navigated autonomously.

@Scobleizer if one person with a laptop can do that much damage, feels like the real gap is not models but how fragile our systems still are we built an internet where "destroy a good chunk of companies" is even possible in a weekend

I was hanging out with one of the best hackers in the world last night. He has a model that finds more security issues than the Anthropic “for special people only” model. It is the scariest technology I have ever seen. There are cyberattacks coming that could take down everything in America. We must harden everything before the Chinese get their own. Or we are toast. This is the real problem with AI. If I had the tool like what I saw I could destroy a good chunk of the companies in San Francisco young and old. I know this one is in good hands. But what about the next one who gets enough data to build one? He got the data by being bad. Went to prison and converted over to the good side. Even bad people can change themselves. One of the most interesting guys I have met. Gotta keep them secret for National Security reasons.

@bentossell The AI I am using that @blevlabs invented evolves to use everything. And fixes itself. By the way there is something in the water in your neighborhood. Brayden lives across the street from @FactoryAI in San Francisco.

That is super awesome iterative design based on current need is the future, expect that in 30 seconds or less in the future ideally in under 100ms, gaming monitors are 200ms. Would honestly love to see what you are doing. You should have them scan my articles... there are some key words and concepts in the articles which would help nail down the "best possible future" not to say I've got it figured I'm just saying a few of the variables are there. The future is complex to be sure. I have a tiny number of published articles lol.

I have done both many times. Got married in the Carmel Mission the first time. And I saved a Napa winery after Sarah Francis, now Ackerman, lost all her glassware in the Napa earthquake. And Gary Vaynerchuk gave me a tour of Sonoma which got me into meet real innovators in wine. If you have money to spend on wine I can get you into the best in Napa. I partied in his chemistry lab with all my friends for my 50th birthday. And Claire Parr, rest her soul, playing guitar on his counter. She has played for the Rolling Stones. She introduced me to at least 100 different music performers (top name performers—her concerts in Napa introduced new performers to highly curated audience over the years). And many music executives. I love Napa. Got to try a rare glass of the wine they used to beat the French for the first time. With the farmer who grew the grapes.

She represents @Pokee_AI which includes the X API in its low price. There are infinite apps to be made. They are easy to make. You speak English. Or whatever language you want. And it makes it. Want to know what your football team is eating? Build a list and tell Pokee about it. What do you want to know. “Hey Pokee can you read this list: XXXXXXXXX.” “Can you write a report on what they all are eating.” And you get an app. That does what you told it to do. I am not compensated by Pokee today. It isn’t free but it isn’t expensive either. At least coming Monday. When @xai lowers its price to read 40,000 a day, like I do to build alignednews.com/ai then we will reevaluate. But why are you resisting? Just go build. So many magic carpets to ride. Use whatever tool you want. There are more than 1,000 developer tools and another 1,000 for creative people on my Holodeck and Developers tools: x.com/scobleizer/lis… My lists, or rather the tools on them, build dreams. You dream it. Tell it. Pokee builds it. Is it perfect? No but I have been watching them for a while and they are improving at a rapid rate.

@Kyrannio @Pokee_AI Tomorrow is better. My AI is evolving. I have a team of Ninjas arguing out how to improve their work in a Slack channel right now. They will run for months and so far make great things for me. But Pokee is available now. The Ninjas aren’t yet.
