@andrewljohnson You can't edit the underlying document, however, you can have it saved as a 'basis'. DocuSign lets you 'apply' the template and not 'use' the template so you might not need to edit the document! Feel free to book a call to discuss DocuSign workflows: calendly.com/solusign/inter…

Is there a software like HelloSign that lets you both edit the underlying word doc and the template fields at the same time? So you can easily update and customize templates? Does DocuSign just work better and I never tried it?
