@tobi Who knew early singularity could be this fun? :) I just confirmed that the improvements autoresearch found over the last 2 days of (~650) experiments on depth 12 model transfer well to depth 24 so nanochat is about to get a new leaderboard entry for “time to GPT-2” too. Works 🤷‍♂️

BREAKING: The US Treasury posted a $284.4 billion deficit in October, the worst opening month to any fiscal year in history. This exceeds the previous record of $284.1 billion in October 2020, during the historic pandemic response. Government spending jumped +18% YoY, to $688.7 billion, bringing the 6-month moving average up to ~$590 billion. To put this differently, US government expenditures averaged ~$22.5 BILLION per day last month. The deficit spiral is accelerating at a record pace.

@IamKyros69 why you mean with no docs, no youtube? there was the same amount of more docs and youtube exists since 2005… that’s twenty years. I learned HTML/PHP/JS/CSS/TCL etc by downloading the binaries and parts and reading the docs and blog posts… in 1997…

Crypto is a rigged casino, and today’s events prove it beyond doubt. A single colossal BTC whale shorted at the peak, then, just minutes before the market-shattering crash, piled on millions more in shorts. At the very bottom of the drop, he closed 90% of his Bitcoin short and completely exited his Ethereum short, pocketing roughly $190–$200 million in a single day. That’s the only instance we can trace, but speculation is rampant that the scale was far larger and extended across other exchanges. Don’t be naive, this wasn’t luck. Someone was either manipulating the market or front-running it. Either way, the collapse was engineered, and investors have every reason to be alarmed.

@CloudflareHelp @Cloudflare you have another issue inside the dashboard - when you’re in security rules and you add a rule, click on the claudy helper sidebar. after closing the sidebar, the window is not scrollable anymore. the sidebar click probably sets overflow hidden and closing it doesn’t remove it.

@tuemerkan @marclou This is legal/allowed even if you use a trademark, as long as it’s not in a consumer misleading way. Comparative advertising is legal as well, as long as it’s factual. Even on TV, you can name competitors directly, as long as the claims are accurate.
