@veselith_ Thanks! IRL it makes it look like the dot is somewhere far forward. Very easy to simulate with a bump offset node in most engines.

@MrJackphil yeah, I mean I was kinda narrow minded, it was a matter of running the script that will just build the map on selected interval, no idea why I just assumed I have to press the button. Simple automations for the win, thanks again.

okay, I am also using func_godot but never explored the possibility of runtime map building. I just assumed that I have to manually press build map after I make some changes and never thought any of it.
This is opening a new realm of possibilities and I am thankful that you showcased that. Cheers!

@big_bird810 this is mostly why I even played around with that. I do not have use for such interactions for now, just wanted to see how annoying they are with implementation. But yes, precisely the pure fun of interacting with boxes in half life was my inspiration here.
