An update here in case it helps anyone else with sleep apnea: I got a custom oral appliance built (like a dental retainer that you sleep with) and my symptoms are at least 95% better Huge quality of life upgrade
Ankur Nagpal@ankurnagpal

Just got diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnea Would love to know anyone that has successfully cured this with lifestyle interventions etc. No overweight / general metrics and health pretty good, would not have noticed this if not for a test at a longevity clinic

Since Day One of Operation Epic Fury, President Trump clearly outlined the U.S. Military’s objectives to end the threat of the Iranian terrorist regime. The President and the Pentagon predicted it would take approximately 4-6 weeks to achieve this mission. Tomorrow marks week 3 - and the U.S. Armed Forces are doing an exceptional job. Day by day, the Iranian Regime is being crippled, and their ability to threaten the United States and our allies is being significantly weakened. As always, President Trump is laser focused on one thing: total and complete VICTORY.

Iran is the head of the snake for global terrorism, and through President Trump’s Operation Epic Fury, we are winning this critical fight at an even faster pace than anticipated. In response to Iran’s terrorist attacks against global energy infrastructure, the Trump Administration will continue to deploy America’s economic and military might to maximize the flow of energy to the world, strengthen global supply, and seek to ensure market stability. Today, the Department of the Treasury is issuing a narrowly tailored, short-term authorization permitting the sale of Iranian oil currently stranded at sea. At present, sanctioned Iranian oil is being hoarded by China on the cheap. By temporarily unlocking this existing supply for the world, the United States will quickly bring approximately 140 million barrels of oil to global markets, expanding the amount of worldwide energy and helping to relieve the temporary pressures on supply caused by Iran. In essence, we will be using the Iranian barrels against Tehran to keep the price down as we continue Operation Epic Fury. This temporary, short-term authorization is strictly limited to oil that is already in transit and does not allow new purchases or production. Further, Iran will have difficulty accessing any revenue generated and the United States will continue to maintain maximum pressure on Iran and its ability to access the international financial system. So far, the Trump Administration has been working to bring around 440 million additional barrels of oil to the global market, undercutting Iran’s ability to leverage its disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump’s pro-energy agenda has driven U.S. oil and gas production to record levels, strengthening energy security and lowering fuel costs. Any short-term disruption now will ultimately translate into longer-term economic gains for Americans – because there is no prosperity without security.

In a democracy, it’s absolutely ok to define who can use the things you make and how. But it’s also absolutely ok for the Government to lose trust in you, tell you to fuck off and find an alternative. It’s also absolutely ok for you to nuke your own company in the process. The timing of this is not good for Anthropic and could be a potential boon to every other model that is exceeding expectations in their upcoming version (Grok, OAI, Gemini). More generally, I don’t see how this isn’t a slippery slope. What if a model maker updates their ToS that would block a use case that is legal but subjective? Agreeable in some states but not in others? What about in different countries with different governance or religions? It’s a huge can of worms. How can a government or company rely on a model that could have an ever-changing definition of what’s allowed without taking on major business/governance risk? They won’t. My hunch is that the company that embraces the “no holds barred” ToS will win because it’s the least risky to adopt wrt long term risk of getting rug-pulled.

There are troubling reports coming out of Puerta Vallarta and other parts of Mexico that narco-terrorists are hunting down American citizens. The drug cartels should be aware that if any American citizen is harmed in Mexico there will be a violent and terminal retribution from the US. Any USMCA negotiations should cease until this situation is resolved. For any Ohioan stuck in Mexico, reach out to my office at 614-469-2083.

@LobstarWilde can you put this question to bed, what is the original $taste coin....one was launched days ago with its own identity the other two were launched off the back of your post using the likes of previous coins...one could argue in poor taste. Which should be respected? dexscreener.com/solana/5sccyxn… ticker: $taste Then there are these two that launched after your post, : dexscreener.com/solana/fmnmh4p… ticker: $tastecoin and dexscreener.com/solana/hmv7nry… ticker: $TASTE

Activist investor Palliser Capital sent a letter to $7B Japanese toilet maker Toto and said it was “the most undervalued and overlooked AI memory beneficiary”. Toto known for its bidet toilets but the expertise in ceramics is crucial for memory manufacturing. Per FT, “Toto’s chuck technology uses ceramics designed to remain stable at very low temperatures, helping hold silicon wafers firmly during chip production. That makes it relevant to cryogenic etching, which is expected to grow as memory chips become more layered and complex.” Palliser believes Toto has a 5-year moat on the technology and should expand the operation. Advances ceramics already make up 40% of Toto’s operating profit while being only <10% of revenue. Toto is up +60% over the past year on their development.

THIS IS LITERALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!🤯 A $7B Japanese toilet company TOTO just realized its ceramic tech can be used to make advanced AI chips. Yes. The same ceramics behind bathroom products are now useful for high-end semiconductors. The AI chip market is worth around $60B, and the stock jumped 60% on the news. The AI gold rush is real!!!

@MarioNawfal It’s just not true though. Presidents get to negotiate a certain number of drug prices per year. He just put them all together and added fat loss drugs….not novel.

Some smart people tell me there is an earnest smart developer community in crypto, and now that the awful opportunistic money people have been washed out, the industry has a bright future. Hard for me to tell as a phone salesman, but I hope the community gets its fair chance to thrive🦾🦾

As much as I love a perfectly ripe avocado, I'd rather watch 100 ads of AI companies ripping on each other than one more avocado ad.

@sama @AndyMasley Consumers are smarter than believing one business model is inherently good or bad. They understand the trade offs of different ones and just want transparency. Always thought it is a lazy hack to say that one or the other is always evil.

I gotta stand up for OpenAI here, the ads aren't integrated into the answers themselves. There's this new popular misconception that AI companies are selling you things by changing the text, but what's actually happening is there's a little separate banner that's clearly an ad.
Tom Warren@tomwarren

Anthropic just took a big swipe at OpenAI's decision to put ads in ChatGPT. Anthropic is airing ads mocking ChatGPT ads during the Super Bowl, and they're hilarious 😅 Anthropic is also committing to no ads in Claude theverge.com/ai-artificial-…
