Nathalie Provost is using her role as MP to push her personal agenda. She's a single issue politician. Nathalie experienced a traumatic experience that might be better treated with therapy, as opposed to getting on the government payroll to make innocent law abiding citizens "pay" for what happened to her and the other victims of the Ecole Polytechnique massacre. Clearly she has not bothered to educate herself since 1989. Nathalie's lack of knowledge about firearms is embarrassing and her solutions do nothing to get illegal firearms off the streets or curtail violent crime.

@SoulDialectic @MaximeBernier I’ve had grad classes where half of the class was openly cheating on an exam because the professor left the room. All international students from one specific country. So no, just being an intl student at a USA university would not convince me to offer green cards.

@SoulDialectic @MaximeBernier In America a F1 (international student) first has to get a H1-B work authorization visa, or a TN equivalent if Canadian or Mexican. Then onto the green card. Then citizenship. As one myself I agree wholeheartedly that an immigrant needs about a decade+ to assimilate. Not less.

@SoulDialectic @MaximeBernier Florida used to only allow international students to work on campus or at professor’s lab. Some jobs related to field of study were allowed through an intership class. Not sure what they do now, but it was controlled and limited to 20 hours per week except maybe summer semester.
