@allie__voss I have tried to talk to my fellow Mormons about this phenomenon; tried to tone it down. Alas, too many of them love Lord of the Rings but don't want you to know how geeky they are, so they spell their kid's name Airagourne and pretend it is from their fathers Norwegian side.

If you can’t at the very least affirm the Nicene Creed then yes, it’s heresy.

It takes a special type of immaturity to denigrate people because of their religious clothing of any kind, whether worn under the clothing, on top, or if it is the clothing itself. My Jewish brothers wear a yarmulke and tallit. Many of my Catholic and Protestant brothers and sisters wear cross jewelry. My Hindu friends wear unstitched or loosely fitted traditional Indian garments that prioritize modesty, comfort, and spiritual purity. And, I know they too get mocked by those who lack maturity.
It's sad.
I served in Scouting for about 30 years. This guy's comment reminds me of hearing some of the 12 and 13 year old boys at night, in their tents, giggling and making rude comments that required my saying, "If I hear any more of that, you boys will have KP duty for the rest of the week."
This guy has earned a block.

44 years ago, I decided I would quit debating and find out once and for all if what my friends, teammates, and two young men in white shirts and ties had told me about the @Ch_JesusChrist was true.
There is a promise given at the very end of the Book of Mormon:
And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.”
Moroni 10:4–5.
Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, keeps every promise. I read, prayed, asked, and listened.
He answered.
That decision will bless my family and me for an Eternity.
