Trying to get a gas connection for last three months. @CenterPoint energy is giving a run around for more than 100 days. Been lied to, misguided and nothing is done. No one in that company takes responsibility any more! Caused me thousands of dollars and still nothing.

@CenterPoint you turned off the gas to my home for repairs on our street. I was out of town when you randomly made decisions and then expected residents to be home. I flew home from a family emergency and I am on day 3 of your not returning to check out my hot water heater per your demand. My street has been under construction for a year. Today, day 3 and I was promised someone would be here today before 3:30 p.m.and that I would receive a call a few hours in advance of their arrival.. I have to leave again at 3:30 today and no one has called. I flew home for this shit & I have been met with not one but three hang up calls when you're supposedly transferring my call to a supervisor. Don't ask me to DM, I'm sick of the pretense. If posting on a flipping media site is what gets your attention, YOU HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Big organizations worry more about being called out on Social media than taking care of their customers. I'll continue to use it to get some service for the $ you are paid for a service you're obligated to provide if you're receiving money. You then tell me, today, 1:14 p.m. that my servuce call is out to a 3rd party who only works M-F. It's my 5th phone call to Ctrpt today at at 1 p.m. your employee Shani tells me "well, this is the first I've spoken to you and if you want a solution you'll stop raising your voice. This is your fault. When you set 3 appts for Fri, Sat, and Sun with a 3rd party who only works M-F, why wouldn't you tell me that on my 4 previous calls today, or Saturdays calls or Fri until 8 p.m.. You lied and I purposely flew home to get this taken care of and you set a scheduled time for today, Sunday between 10 and 3:30. Now your trying to say you've called me several times... news flash, your phone logs incoming and outgoing and you haven't called since Wed. You just said i wouldnt be hearing from anyone until Monday, but say youve reached out several times today. FU! I'm going a lot further with this complaint. Turning off gas and not notifying customers mIght find you in some hot water. We will be filing a public complaint with the PUCT first thing Monday & any additional governing body.

For anyone needing to pay their @CenterPoint bill online? Their authentication through the new site is wack. Bypass by going to the CenterPoint One Time Pay. It’s old but it works. After you get past that authentication, you’re in. Pay there or go back to the new area. Good luck!
