There are maybe three top FHE companies today. @fhenix is one of them. Those are the only companies building production-grade post-quantum encryption. I'm now realizing we need to work faster, because it's already the 11th hour - benzinga.com/news/26/03/515…

There’s a new fully homomorphic encryption scheme on the block and it’s called DBFV, here’s what @ChrisPeikert has to say about it

I’m really excited about this. The most important tech I got to work on to date. A long-form post is coming. For now, excited to publish the theoretical paper of this new FHE scheme — just in time for the New Year!
Fhenix@fhenix

Fhenix has been working toward a single goal: VISA-level throughput for encrypted execution on Ethereum. For years, that sounded unrealistic. Today, our research team published DBFV - a new FHE scheme designed to make encrypted arithmetic meaningfully faster: eprint.iacr.org/2025/2321 Why this matters: addition and multiplication are the core building blocks behind AI inference and financial rails. Make those cheap, and entire new classes of encrypted applications stop being theoretical. This is an early step. But the direction is clear: we're making FHE scalable in a way previously unimagined Stay tuned - 2026 will be FHE coded.

DBFV is a game changer. Performant FHE is a critical milestone toward making cryptographic privacy practical, scalable, and secure across all use cases.

Our own Doron Zarchy (@DZeresh) is presenting today at @DeComputeConf - sharing his work on High-Throughput Universally Composable Threshold FHE Decryption, a paper previously awarded Distinguished Paper by @acm_ccs. Proud of the Fhenix research team pushing privacy forward.

In just 24 hours, our devs created this private x402 payments demo. While they say "FHE is hard" or "immature," we already achieved 20,000x faster decryption, prioritized UX, optimized tech stacks, and built the functional FHE coprocessor. Let's code? fhenix.io/blog/fhenix402

NDA is lifted and we can finally talk about this. This hits all major TEEs - not just SGX. I heard quite a few people claim that newer systems (and TDX) won't get broken. This puts it to rest. They are all vulnerable. But that's not even the worst part. The biggest problem is Intel's response, saying that physical attacks are 'out-of-scope' for TEEs. This was the straw that broke the camel's back for me - if these are viable attacks (and they clearly are), you can't just push them outside the threat model.

What can you get for $1,000? 43 months of Netflix Premium. 666 Costco Hot Dogs Or, thanks to @DanielGenkin and friends — a homemade device that kills TEE and TDX. This team built a simple $1K board that sits between the CPU and DDR5 memory. By literally watching the electrical signals across the bus, they could see patterns in what’s supposed to be “encrypted” data. Those patterns were enough to extract attestation keys from Intel SGX, TDX, and AMD SEV-SNP — the very keys that prove a system is secure. What it really means: Every time someone says “we run in a TEE / TDX ” you should hear — “we trust no one will ever touch the motherboard.” That model is done. The only path forward is cryptography that doesn’t rely on trusting hardware. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — TEEs and their cousins are a dead end for decentralized computation. They had their moment. It’s over. tee.fail/files/paper.pdf

@binji_x Privacy=security. Individuals should not have their data leaked and become targets. Institutions should be held liable to the highest possible personal privacy standards, or we should build out tech solutions that force them to do so

Why is everyone shi*ting on TEEs right now? What’s the real stack for onchain privacy? And why FHE might finally make private DeFi practical? We’re going live with @zama in ~3h to break it all down. Tune in: x.com/i/broadcasts/1…
