If Iran won't have a nuke in a year, I would be very surprised. They killed the guy who gave the religious ban to have nukes, they killed the philosopher, and are bombing them. Seriously, what at this point is stopping them? Because the decapitation strikes sure won't.

@snekotron @Volke__ Yes to all that, but also take into account that Iran is on a plateau, the Zagros mountain range reach an average elevation of about 2500-3000m with peaks much higher than this. This elevation can - depending on launch point help with range reasonably even by up to ~25-30%

@Volke__ It is obvious that a lot of these combat missions are flown at relatively low altitude in order to take advantage of terrain masking by the mountains. The defender just needs to know the routes to plan an ambush. It has to be fairly exact because these missiles have <10km range.
