JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇮🇷 CIA leaked fake plans for a maritime exfil to distract Iran from the location of the US F-15 pilot.

I'm kinda confused: why didn't Iran fly out to where they knew the pilot was? Why were they searching for him on foot?

At first, I thought Ogun State building an airport so close to Lagos was a waste of resources. But when I realized it’s a cargo airport, I paused and did my research. Having plied that route week-in, week-out for over 2 years during my PhD at OOU (using it as an alternative to the terrible Ibadan–Ijebu Ode road), I’ve seen the level of investment clustering there around that axis: Industrial FTZs, agro-processing hubs, and more. Honestly, this is an impressive project. If properly utilized, it could unlock massive economic potential. If your business is import/export focused, you might want to start thinking about a warehouse in that corridor.

Oyetola really set Osun back. Adeleke should have had that 2018 mandate. In Ogun, Dapo Abiodun built and commissioned an airport and is now in his second term. In Ekiti, Oyebanji continued and delivered on an airport project started by a previous administration. But in Osun, Oyetola met an ongoing airport project and handed the site over to the military. Now, Governor Adeleke has restarted construction and is reshaping many sectors, the airport is expected to be completed in his second term, by God’s grace.

It doesn’t look like history will be Kind to Jonathan afterall.

The most fascinating thing about this photo is not 16 year old Daniel Amokachi (jersey no. 12) earning Super Eagles call up while playing for Ranchers Bees of Kaduna I am incredibly fascinated by the thousands of fans behind the photo that came out to watch a Nigerian League game. What happened to Nigerian football?

I’m going to have to write a really long wall of text to properly explain the difference between higher oil price in 2014 vs higher oil price in 2026 and might end up looking like a Tinubu supporter in the end so I’d avoid that. Key differences are: subsidy removal, naira collapse, debt servicing, a depleted Excess Crude Account, and we’re producing roughly half the crude. To be clear, both governments that followed Jonathan have been horrendous since they failed to properly address our core problems. I’m really just saying Nigeria has been on the same horrible trajectory since then, but now the effects are worse as we’re in a much worse economic position with no buffers left to absorb the shocks.

Portharcourt residents have you ever used the pedestrian bridge on Aba road? The view is insane
