@dadsofhopetrust It is unfortunate that most families with persons with disabilities are single parent homes. One issue could be the negative traditional beliefs that associate disability with dark magic. Communities need to be sensitized to the real causes of disability, to curb misinformation

We have been seeing a lot of families that hve PWD's being headed by a single parents though I don't hve the full stats. Both men & women hve left to leave the other with the family. Is it because there is a child with disabilities or there could be other issues contributing?

@TIZim_info Great initiative. There also need to be systems in place to facilitate follow up for reports mades, to make sure that these cases are dealt with and seen through, so as to ensure justice for persons with disabilities.

This plight of people living with disabilities has been ignored and above all they are victims of sextortion. @TIZim_info is capacitating these citizens so that they are able to report these incidents.

@TIZim_info is in Epworth conducting a #Genderedcorruption training for people living with disabilities. The gendered impacts of corruption have affected these maginalised group with no recourse.

I sometimes don't feel any need to read the book on Disability Studies because my life is a book on its on. Born with a PHD already& Discrimination, stigmatization-part of our lives. Wasn't easy spend 4 pry school years without a friend. Need new society with Inclusivity mind.
