Been building this quietly after hours for the past few months. mgr.domains is a private system for managing your domain portfolio - renewals, pricing, bulk edits - all under your control. Think of it like a private cloud for domain investors. It runs on your own Cloudflare account, so your data stays yours. Setup is a bit different (you connect your Cloudflare), but there are short videos to guide you through it - and if you’re used to DNS, it’ll feel familiar. V2 will bring automation, syncing, and more powerful workflows. But the core system you see today is free - and stays free. Unlimited domains. No lock-in. No rug pulls. Just ongoing improvements and bug fixes. You can try it from the homepage - there’s a live demo linked there. It’s Easter weekend, so if you find any Easter eggs (also known as bugs), let me know 😄🐣 Happy Easter to all celebrating ! #domains #buildinpublic #privacy #indiehackers #cloudflare

latest update: Added flows to handle "dropped" domains .. Realised that we cannot just "delete" a domain from a portfolio, because it could be listed on marketplaces, etc. and it is our responsibility to clean up those domains (which I call sanitization in the app) .. so instead, the app now "drops" domains - basically archives it, and provides "sanitization" CSVs for the relevant portfolios, and this view can be seen on the dashboard. The saintization flow needs to happen when a domain is marked as "sold" or "leased" or "not for sale" and now, when it is "archived". The links in dashboard should take you to the relevant sections .. The app's changelog can be found here: mgr.domains/changelog

@Yibecoder thanks ! 200 a second is def not in scope for me though at this point 😀 Yes basically thought a continual monitoring system (plus on demand when needed) should be good enough, considering the limitations. All the best with your build!

@DomainNamescape Ahan, that’s nice. 200 domains an hour is decent since each person will have their own system and own domains. I was thinking of doing it on a multi tenant system, 200 a second is what would be ideal for that. But great work mate, In record time.

Not inner html unfortunately, but the full response. Because the workers in cloudflare don’t have dom, so can’t get the inner html easily. Also it’s fairly scalable - wrt the amount of domains that are scanned, it took about an hour to scan 200+ domains and keeps going on (continual batch monitoring as opposed to all at once)

@Yibecoder I check for string occurrences - in this case, the generic ” might be available” and a couple of more etc. I need to look at other marketplaces as well. And some way to keep on top of these “generic” page changes by Afternic, Sedo etc.

@Yibecoder haha not at all. It’s been a great learning experience in the domaining world and use cases ! These changes should be in hopefully by the weekend. And it works fantastically with my vanity addition - telegram notifications !

@Yibecoder Hello. Just an FYI - testing these flows and looking good so far (still in dev). I need to try out a bunch more marketplaces etc - thanks for this suggestion! Kept me up the past few nights.

Couple of sales to share via @afternic from my new $299 bucket. Started on Friday, two sales in last two days. I've got some strong names in this bucket, but it's something I've wanted to test for a while, and credit must go to @rdce80 as he's give me some good advice over DM in the last year or so and his latest videos have helped cement some of my thoughts into action !

Finally done and @NamePros Blog. My adventure with a score and ranking for every domain name in a 2600 name portfolio. 35+ hours of work or 49 seconds per domain name It was fun. Sort of. I need to go sit on a bench by ocean, but welcome your comments. namepros.com/blog/how-i-ran…

April has been a good month for sales, mostly small sales. I've started focusing on flipping names in some extensions and scaling in .com with the profits. Thanks @Aladey for all the domain tips :D #domain #domains

Yes definitely limited by cloudflare and the free tier and the privacy design of the app (so I’d rather find some way to run it from the users cloudflare infrastructure). I have a couple of ideas - would need to test them rigorously for about 1000-2000 domains and check the performance !

@DomainNamescape Checking the wording will not be the most efficient way, Imagine doing that for a couple thousand domains, cloudflare will throttle you. You'll have to find the difference some other way, the way that can be used for bulk and is faster.

Yes thanks. Been thinking about this since yesterday. That’s definitely the way to go - though I would need to collect a bunch of example pages and allow for changes in how the page is displayed (for eg Afternic/Sedo might change the wording overnight etc) Currently working on telegram integration and this would be a great use case to provide notifications!

@DomainNamescape I’d approach this by studying both pages, find small differences that can be checked faster, perhaps a change in header.

@rdce80 @domainpro To add to what @domainpro said, even though there are a lot of domainers, I (am sure not alone) consider you an important domainer and the loss will definitely be ours ! But I suppose you got to follow your heart, so all the best with your new way of doing things !

@domainpro Yeah I get it - just that someone needs to get more attention from other sources and Twitter is packed with amazing domainers/content already. So I thought I’d try something different. I have a really good idea and like to be creative. I’ve had big followings before (100k followe

@Yibecoder That’s really interesting to know ! Thanks for that. Tbh, I this was always on the roadmap, but never explored it to see how it can be done. Thanks for providing direction on what I would need to do next.

@DomainNamescape Also it should be able to differentiate between, forsale lander and afternic’s “ domain is registered but still might be available page” that is one of the issue I am facing, afternic just flips to that page and I don’t even know until I check it manually.
