Day 1 of building GTA 6. Still feels fake typing that out. Upgraded to Claude Max 20x just for this. Spent a couple hours getting the whole project structured and pushed to the repo. Sandbox is up and running. No studio, no publisher. Just whoever shows up. We picked Godot on purpose: it's community-owned, so nobody can pull an EPIC on us later and rewrite the deal once we're invested. The goal: beat the real GTA 6 to launch. Ambitious, probably stupid, doing it anyway. If you can model, code, build levels, or write music and lore, come join. Looking for a couple contributors to cook this. Time to cook. Black Eye 2.0 is live. We’re helping make @UnrealEngine an incredible place to work with cameras: gameplay, cinematics, mocap, previs, live events, trailer capture, and anywhere else cameras need to be great. Black Eye 2.0 includes our new gameplay camera system, built to transform how teams create, tune, blend, prioritize, and manage gameplay cameras in UE. It's available on @fab It also includes the new Black Eye Panel, which makes camera creation and iteration absurdly fast and much more accurate. You work through the lens, like a DP. Will a 128GB RTX Spark laptop be expensive? probably. But there will also be lower RAM variants, down to 16GB which hopefully will bring the pricing down to around MacBook Air levels. ASUS, Dell, and lots of others already building.
