There are 100 passengers waiting in line to board an airliner with 100 passenger seats. The seats are numbered from 1 to 100. Each passenger holds a ticket with his seat number. You are the last passenger in line. One of the passengers ahead of you in line is crazy. We don’t know which one. He will ignore his seat assignment and sit in a random empty seat (the crazy person might sit in his assigned seat; he is equally likely to sit in any open seat). Every other passenger will sit in their assigned seat — unless it is already taken, in which case they too will sit in a random empty passenger seat. Passengers board one by one. What is the probability that you will sit in your assigned seat?

When weighing up the options of how to fill the ‘£20 Billion Black Hole,’ Starmer obviously dismissed the idea of making huge multinational companies like Amazon, Starbucks and Vodaphone pay some tax... and decided to hammer the pensioners instead. #WinterFuelAllowance

@UKLabour Let's get this straight, the decision to freeze pensioners because of 22billion black hole when HS2 is going to still cost 67billion. Bin that and fill 3 similar sized black holes Rob pensioners for useless puffer train project....Seems fair.

Even if you don't want to tax anybody there is the Brexit pinata to hit. Rejoining the Single Market would give the Treasury £40bn and the people £150bn. Like if we need to rejoin. RT we need to do it RIGHT NOW.
