@Oceanbreeze473 They also had us play ‘cat and mouse’ They would lay out a huge deflated parachute & half the kids had to be ‘mice’ & crawl under it while the ‘cats’ crawled & stomped around on us If you got ‘caught’ you were out & had to exit from beneath the parachute & go sit by yourself😆

@HISWAYismyWAY @SusanGriffin530 I forgot what the old Portland looked like. We were a fun kind of weird. Random marching bands and circus performers parading down the street for no reason. Sweaty guys on bicycles who would make their money pedaling drunk ppl from bar to bar in a bike drawn carriage😅

@SusanGriffin530 I remember a few years ago the Rose Parade was cancelled because a conservative group was going to be walking in the parade..

I also stumbled upon these pics, these were the "good old days." I took so much for granted. Portland was the place to work, party and play, to live, laugh and love. Maybe one day the Rose City will be known as the City that Rose. 🥰🌹

Friends, if you knew your Republican leadership was working with an independent media company that one of the partners went to federal prison for buying child p*** would that be upsetting to you? Is this acceptable for Republicans to work with someone that committed crimes against children because it was over 20 years ago? Or because they aren’t the “face” of the business even though they write everything and have their picture on the website? Curious what you all think. It seems like an obvious no to me but here we are.

@omgsidewalks I grew up in a vegetables at no meal’ household But now when I cook spaghetti I try to eat a side salad or I chop up zucchini and spinach and add it to the meat sauce.

If you grew up in a “vegetables at every meal” household….what did you eat with spaghetti???

@Steezehuman Lift weights. Having to concentrate on counting and lifting will clear whatever it is out of your head. Get a good book about proper form. Anything that involves counting really. You could try cross stitch if weightlifting doesn’t appeal to you.

So Alex and I moved into our new house in November. The house is awesome and its out in the country which we love. We are in a neighborhood but you cant win em all 🤷 Well, the new young neighbors across the street are apparently very devoted fans of music with LOTS of bass and they are clearly tech savvy cause their speakers can be heard from 3 miles away. They also must have many wealthy friends because 17 cars with really expensive looking rims line the street outside their house every night that they throw large get togethers.....at all hours of the night during the work week. This is all good and fine except its annoying as F*CK hearing that at 2am on a Tuesday and we have little kids who are trying to sleep! We are in the country so noise ordnance is not a thing....need some advice on how to address this without ending up on the news or in an altercation. Anyone got some advice? Please and thank you.
