This is indeed a serious crisis, and it’s even worse to see it take shape irl within our communities. We need to do better at engaging with youth intellectually and socially and inviting them to the masjid! It requires sincere effort and creativity!

God allowed for something to take his place as a mercy, but the lesson is whatever God commands is just and correct

I can understand why a lot of the Ahl Al Hadith group took Abu Hanifa to be a (especially Al Bukhari) "heretic" but to claim none of them changed their minds especially Malik is nothing but misreading the texts.

so ofc, a muslim can reject what another muslim thinks is sahih.

The Shayateen being chained in Ramadan only means the big ones are chained or all of them are restricted in their power, but it does not mean they are gone.
The Prophet (SAW) said, "Shaitan flows through a human being like the flowing of blood," and he said this in Ramadan.

@eraser0110 @CopticBoi @Muhamma55910196 no serious hadith scholar will say the process of collecting and writing hadith is an inspired project. it is a human project. it's a very impressive and I think Muslims have preserved their founder and earliest generations teachings better than any other civilization

@eraser0110 @CopticBoi @Muhamma55910196 yes exactly. sometimes there actually may be contradictory hadith, but it's okay if they can't be reconciled. scholars can then grade the chains (even if both sahih) or look at contexts or corroborating reports, etc to judge which one to use in jurisprudence
