I honestly felt having quite a few players that played in the Olympic Gold game this year tired them out for the Stanley Cup Finals. The wear and tear would be brutal. Should have some fresh legs and spirit next season. Good year boys, it was so much fun.

@JK_Ice_Maker @SaskColin 22 allowed goals in the SCF is atrocious. Connor Hellebuyck stuffed 41 of 42 shots against the Canadians and has a terrible defense. A goalie can be the difference. Bussi was the difference.

It puzzles me that Vegas locks in with Hart and never gives a thought to Hill. The Hurricanes aren't even dressing Andersen even as a backup and he posted 13-3 win/loss 3 shutouts and a .910 save %

Hannifin and Andersson have been horrific for the VGK defense.

Eichel has struggled to score consistently ever since the '23 cup run. Back then shots were going in and ripping successful one-timers. Got the money bag💰and called it good ever since.

Hannifen man, had 4 chances to clear that puck and failed each time. Who told me Hannifen wasn't to worry about?

As expected, Hart allows a goal right away. Routine stop for Adin Hill.

That's what I'm saying. Defense plays a role but after seeing Connor Hellebuyck have zero defense against an insane Canadian team in the Gold game, he stopped 41 of 42 shots. A goalie alone can make a difference. Defense needs to step to a godly level this game.

Vegas fans are the most fragile and emotional in the entire NHL. It's entertaining.

No Bill Carlson aka “The ⚓️” for Vegas Golden Knights makes matters really difficult. I do believe VGK can win game 6 with their championship experience alone but they need to possess the puck way more and not let Carolina swarm them in the neutral zone in particular. When you don’t complete passes / keep the puck on the yellow it makes it easy for the Hurricanes to close time and space with their skating and up tempo game. You have to hold onto pucks and deposit into areas for your attack to skate onto. Here’s the line combinations I’d try that would help that: Barbie-Eichel-Stone Howden-Marner-Dorofeyev R. Smith- Hertl-Sissons C. Smith-Dowd- Coleslaw Vegas is clearly having an issue with the speed of Carolina and it looks overwhelming especially in Game 4/5. The adjustments internally to dictate the pace have to made if they want a chance of forcing a game 7. The line up above gives them a good mix of possession, speed and playmaking. Fourth line has got to wake up this series and make an impact. Let’s see where this goes.. good thing Torts left his Zegna ties in Raleighwood. -People’s

To win a Stanley Cup (I’ve never won one. Not even close). But to win a Stanley Cup. You got to be BOLD. In life to WIN you have to be BOLD. Like people refer to you as Matty Boldy because you’re so bold. Vegas is the definition of bold. And what is a bold move Vegas could pull right now at this stage to ignite their team? Go to Adin Hill. IMO they don’t win the series with Hart playing it out. It’s more about igniting the team more than anything. Giving them a jolt. Hill is a Stanley Cup winning. netminder. @AYMEL69 @J_Swish24 I do. Look at his playoff stats year after year. He's able to show up consistently in the playoffs. He has an off regular season, so what. He's a playoff performer, bottom line.

@JaneWhi20114859 @TDChrisG Torts preached working with the players and most certainly he hasn't working with them very much. I don't know if it's just me but I've noticed a frustrated look on the players faces today.

@TDChrisG You’re absolutely right! 19 is the spark we need to finish this SCF. In my opinion he should have been in long before now, hopefully Torts will recognize that too.

Smith being in the lineup provides an emotional boost for the players and fans. If Torts is capable of reading he room, Smith in the starting lineup will create an energy not seen yet for VGK in the Stanley Cup Final.
