I don’t think they will but the Phils should give consideration to starting their lineup like this: 1. Schwarber 2. Harper 3. Turner Schwarber back at lead-off does a couple things. One, puts immediate stress on the pitcher. Two, allows Harper continue to hit behind him, which could have helped him have the year he did last year. Three, should give Crawford a chance at the bottom of the lineup to get fastballs. It also allows Bryce to hit second, which is huge. Finally, the third spot in the lineup has the times in a game where there’s two outs and no one on. This would allow Trea to either be a guy driving in runs in that spot or get on and steal bases with two outs. I think we haven’t seen him steal the way he can because running with Schwarber/Harper up could cost them a run if they pop one. Just a thought.
