@CommonsHCLG This includes local authorities such as @LewishamCouncil who have ignored my request to provide evidence that a 2 storey block of flats would incur a fire risk assessment fee of £6000. Someone added an extra nought. Service charges doubled to £2000 when hardly any work is done.

As we heard at our recent evidence session on property management companies, action is long overdue to address concerns around excessive service charges, poor communication and unresolved maintenance problems. We will be keeping a close watch on the Government’s progress.

@LewishamCouncil @OanaOlaru92 And don’t get me started on Lewisham’s own anti social tenants they do nothing about. 2 years I’ve had one terrorising a family causing damage etc nothing has been done after 2 years still waiting for a court hearing.

Either st my goes get their act together and patrol the streets or stop taking high risk tenants or even close down. The people of Hither Green have had enough. My young daughter was accosted she’s too scared to open shop

@LewishamCouncil @OanaOlaru92 To add to my above comment I reported this as a LANDLORD and was advised to report my LANDLORD to Lewisham council. This has nothing to do with myself or my tenants. But street drug addicts from st mangoes homeless drug hostel. It’s been going on years but is now unbearable.

My tenants can’t get in and out of their flats because men are smoking crack pipes in the door well. Frightening kids and young women and my shop tenant who happens to be a young woman is afraid

There’s nothing neighbourly about Low Traffic Neighbourhoods. Displacing traffic onto other roads is like me tidying out my house, slinging all my rubbish over the garden fence and then patting myself on the back for how clean my house is. #LTNs are the politics of division.

@DeborahMeaden @RootsAllotments Allotments are great but this is greenwashing; commercial profit dressed up as worthy. Recommended allotments is 15-20 per 1000 households. This is a small village. When asked to reduce the 700 to a proportionate number, Roots said no because they wouldn't make enough profit.

Oh dear....thing is, Nature depletion is a HUGE issue. You are way out of step here Christian @RootsAllotments . You can not fix the problem by ploughing through important habitats. Biodiversity is the other very important part of Net Zero. You need to find degraded land and improve it...then you REALLY have something to be proud of...this is most definitely not it.

@EllaRobertaFdn Investment in public transport is needed and Hither Green needs an accesible station. Greener buses. LTNs have destroyed many peoples lives. And those living on main roads have suffered the worst, as well as those who care for patients in the LTNs the logistics are a nightmare.

@EllaRobertaFdn The whole lot needs an enquiry. LTNs 20mph and ULEZ all of it is a tax on the poor one way or another whether it’s health or wealth. Roads blocked and confusing speed restrictions mean drivers who work for a living face stressed days of driving. Slower traffic means pollution.

@Royal_Greenwich How about Greenwich also halt any permitted development of crown land being turned into a massive 700 plot commercial compost allotments. Destroying the biodiversity and taking horses off the land on eltham palace.
