Yet to see a single woman who is upset with this dad. If you need to bring your daughter in our restroom, I’d bet most of us would even stand at the door for you.

Grown men and women seem to have gotten confused about what little children can be clear on. There are clear differences between men and women. Both need a certain amount of space alone. Women, in particular, are more vulnerable, and our spaces reflect that. Like the kids say, boys and girls should go into their proper restrooms. Kinda hard when parents divorce. Let's keep men and women to their proper spaces. Like the kid said.

My wife told me something interesting. If America and England keep winning in the World Cup, there’s a good chance they’ll go head-to-head on Independence Day, July 4th, America’s 250th birthday. That thought got me very excited.

If Dad isn't available, mom should take young son into women's room, as a rule. Older boys eventually move to the men's room, certainly by puberty, usually well before that. Checking that the men's room is empty first can be useful. Checking - hollering in- every couple of minutes can be useful too, so they never look fully unattended.

People just don't get it. They don't understand what a "Memorandum of Understanding" ("MOU") actually is. It's hardly the best solution. But in cases where the children are not yet fully potty trained and the dad is of absolute necessity alone, then this is the lesser of two evils. Many places have "family restrooms" for a reason, and I'd be ok with stalls around the urinals, frankly.

Thank you. The problem is that it's easier to protect us when boundaries are kept. Them anyone crossing the boundary is already suspect from that point forward, well before he causes more harm. It really is important to respect women's right to privacy from men. Without it, women are not able to mobe anout freely in society. Women's restrooms exist because women were routinely being raped in factory bathrooms during the industrialization of Europe. Taking women's bathrooms away from them because of any excuse forces women - especially elderly women, young women, girls, pregnant women, nursing mothers, deaf women (who can't hear a man yelling at the door), women who have been sexually assaulted in the past, neurotic women, women having a personal crisis - to reconsider whether they CAN safely go to the park, the grocery store, Walmart, the hardware store, the mall, church - you name it - because a man may be present and will insist he gets to be there. Protect your daughters by holding the line, please.
